All right y'all, here is the VERDICT: Kota is not the best yakitori in shanghai , Niao is the best. Here is the tale of the tape. Tebasaki (wings ) : Niao [10] Kota [5]. Beef tongue Niao [7] Kota [9].

Aki's is cool. Went for an after-work Asahi and was impressed by the shochu selection . If I'm back, I'll try some grub.

Love the atmosphere more than the new one on yongjia road :P alhough they have twin waitresses there hahaha awesome music great skewers ! Def a place to come chill !

Chicken tender , chicken liver , chicken heart , avocado grill, mackerel grilled, potato salad , lotus root , italian chicken . all draft beers are amazing! feels like Japan!

Popular spot so must book in advance to ensure seating, service can be slow. Otherwise, awesome place worth a look or two. :-)
