This place is a little bit calmer, more of a drag queen and piano lounge than an upbeat club. The people and staff are super friendly !

Tuesdays with classic club music us GREAT. Some nights downstairs gets too packed but overall it a cool place to hangout with friends. "Most" staff is friendly !

Your guess as good as mine as to what the decor of this place is, but if you like fun... Sunday disco nite. Drag queen spins (and dances ) & guys that know the steps. $5 long Islands , free popcorn .

More half nude “employees” than patrons, and they’re all beautiful. Maybe too aggressive and overwhelming for some people. I had fun looking but not touching, drinks were nice and strong ????

Current Managment is despicable at the Monster. Chris (owner) has street level drag queens performing nightly who aggressively target the customers for tips and personal cash. He accepts this practice

Upstairs is a great piano bar with nice cooler air blowing, downstairs is the hot pulsating, dancing area where heated bodies show off

Best piano bar in New York. Fun crowd. Great pianists . Hot bartenders . Who could ask for more.

This place has become a super fun hangout again! Downstairs club is *alive* on Saturday nights!

Since the '70's, The Monster has been a destination for dancing and singing to Show Tunes ... super fun.

I was only on the first floor, and didn’t really feel the vibe, but it’s a recommended spot.
