Highly recommend this place for an authentic Japanese hot pot experience. This is not the same as shabu shabu . It is infinitely better. I recommend the warishita broth with lots of veggies and meat.
The sukiyaki is totally enough for 2 people, which makes ordering it a great value for the price. And make sure you save some broth at the end for the japanese style congee they make for you!
Beef Sukiyaki $22. Wagyu beef and shirataki in Warishita broth . Set included assorted vegetables and a bowl rice . Meal finished with a complimentary Zosui rice soup for your party.
We tried the Kimchi + Pork Belly , Sukiyaki Beef , Shabu Shabu w/ Pork , & Kinoke Nabe. Best ranked in that order - Sukiyaki Beef best before zosui porridge , & kimchi + pork belly BEST after porridge .
~* Great Shabu and Great Service...perfect for a cold winter day~! Save some room for the Zosui at the end (they cook rice for you w/an egg , green onion , and seaweed flakes ) *~
If you go with the Sukiyaki soup , crack the egg into the broth and it'll hover on the top so you can dip your food in it... Read more
Save a little room for the made to order rice porridge (congee ) at the end. Possibly it’s the best part of the meal.
Save room for the end of the meal where they fill your pot with the most savory broth, nori , green onions and rice !
Delicious shabu shabu !! The one with duck was so yum, broth for tastier and tastier the longer it cooked for.
really fun and tasty. they will try to upsell you to a whole soup each, but for us 1 large pot + 2 appetizers was a perfect meal for 2.
Make a reservation beforehand as it gets busy. Love that they make the rice porridge from your leftover soup .
Kimchi broth was good and everything was clean , but you can definitely get more bang for your buck at other hotpot places.
Easy to order too much, especially since they turn your left over soup into rice porridge (also delicious)
Duck breast , leek , soba , and dashi broth is a different option than most Shabu spots. The zoshui finisher is a nice capper.
organic very clean nabe house. yum. love the sukiyaki . the pork kimchee is unusual and delightful.
Hands down my favorite restaurant for shabu shabu . The after-meal porridge is the perfect touch!
The kimchi + kurobuta pork belly comes with a side of ramen and an egg . Very tasty broth!
Call ahead to reserve your spot! People tend to spend a long time eating, which translates to long waits .
Sukiyaki tastes right. Making rice into sukiyaki porridge is totally new but we loved it
Their pop-up does Taiwanese-American style crepes . Get the tuna flavor.
Love the porridge made at the end from the broth
buy a bottle of sake that matches one of the empty boxes on the wall. drink it, sign it, and it's immortalized!
Make sure to save some broth at the end which they'll use to make congee !
Great new Shabu place in San Francisco. Save room for the rice desert
Save some broth and some room in your stomach for the grand finale!
Kim chi broth is great for the porridge dish at the end.
Make sure you leave room for the porridge at the end! So good!
Seafood Shabu Shabu and mushroom side dish.
Place is awesome. Get the finisher at the end with egg . YUM
My favorite shabu in SF . Not too crowded .
Large Sukiyaki plus a few add-ons was enough or two
Sukiyaki shabu shabu (large, $24) is enough food for two.
Be sure to save room for the congee at the end.
Seafood allergy alert: the only non-dashi based broth is the konbu. D'oh.
The duck is amazing
Shabu Shabu with spicy Miso broth. Oh yeah.
Watch out for the hot air blowing off below your table
Must have the kurobuta gyoza !
The portion of meat is a little sad...
Hamburger steak is awesome
Great place, loved the zosui !
Shabu shabu
Shabu is awesome!!
Sukiyaki is grate
Best SHABU in SF !!!!
Shabu freaking shabu .

Pork belly ramen, spicy tuna on crispy rice, and bacon wrapped mochi - Karsten
Dense, milky ice cream with big scoops. One of the better shops in town! - Angelica W
Mocha is my favorite flavor and they always have it but sometimes it's in the back and you can ask for them to get it for you. - Asher Yanich
The frozen custard is delicious. Great selection of homemade frozen yogurt - Adri .
