Delicious ramen . One of the best ramen shops in London (maybe even in the UK), no contest. This is the authentic stuff.
The best ramen I’ve tasted so far! I took the Tonkatsu X, special to London. Very highly recommended! Small place, not for long evening dinner , just come in and eat. The wait in totally worth the meal
The queue can be long but moves pretty fast so prepare to wait or get there early. Had the spicy yuzu ramen which was excellent. I recommend getting the noodles hard. Broth was flavourful with spice!
Probably has the best Tonkotsu in central London, but I’m partial the spicy Gekikara. Don’t forget to add on an egg !
I am a big fan of ramen . Been to many ramen restaurants in Japan. Kanada-Ya is the best ramen that I had in London. For me, soup is a bit rich & oily, just like “Hakata” style.
Good but falls a little short of it’s reputation of “best ramen in London .” Tonkotsu X with firm noodles and hanjuku egg of course. I went with the ma-yu garlic sauce . Interested to try spicy yuzu .
Incredible broth, and they mean spicy when they say it. Come early to avoid a long line . One of the best meals in LDN
The ramen it is fantastic especially the broth, I drank the entire bowl of soup . I realised Londoner has different hardness of the noodles that the first for me
Most authentic ramen in London (I've tried them all). Spectacular broth, meat, egg . Noodle texture can be customised. Don't worry if the line is long, most diners finish in <1 hr. Not veggie friendly
From all the Ramen places in London I have tried so far, this is one of the best. The broth is superb. Get the noodles in "hard" and add the black garlic oil and an egg !
YES! Do it! I loved the Gekikara (13£) which comes with spicy minced pork . Don't forget to add the garlic paste that's standing on the table!
Very good ramen but be prepared to queue. Line can get very long and the wait can go up to an hour.
The ramen here is really really good! Only been once, because the queues are so long, but I got the traditional one, and it was perfect. Very rich broth which is what I like for ramen .
If you like a rich tonkotsu broth, try Kanada-ya. I had mine with the spicy miso paste & that gave it a real kick. Kimchi & pickled ginger free-flow on the table. Tiny place, so expect to wait. Long.
A contender for best ramen in Central London. Read more
Yummy tonkotsu and big plus for being able to pick noodle firmness. The broth lacked some saltiness for my taste and was a bit too creamy though. Prepare to queue outside but the service is very fast
Very yummy food and good quantity! The place is tiny and there’s is always a queue. It is worth the wait, but I feel out of my comfort zone having so many people so near me while I’m eating.
Quite simply the best ramen noodles ever. I highly recommend a bowl of the chashu men with hard noodles and extra hanjuku egg .
One of the best ramens I've ever tried.. Reflects Japanese style very nicely. All ingredients in great balance, nothing dominates one another..A very fulfilling experience..
If you like spicy , Spicy Yuzu is the one. It has miso kind of flavor
The best ramen I have ever had. From the noodle so the broth!! So so good! Had to go twice in two days ;P
Quite probably the best ramen in London . Tiny place so expect to queue near peak times, but service is fast and efficient and the food is outstanding.
Seriously amazing, number 1 ramen in London by far. Choose your noodle firmness and enjoy real broth. Add the extra egg to be just perfect.
Love from Japan: 3 choices of ramen , with 3 soft, regular or firm noodles to choose from and 1 VERY delicious clear pork bone broth ! Can't go wrong!
Love the way they seasoned and cooked the pork . Rich creamy broth too. But I find the calpis quite expensive for the amount they served
Had the Tonkotsu X with hanjuku egg topping. Really nice bowl, brought back some Tokyo feels (#tokyofeels)
Tonkotsu x ramen with the hanjuku egg ????????????????, small place it gets super busy so get there before 5 or youll have to wait in line .
The best ramen I've had in London!! Tonkotsu X (London version) is so tasty. Lunch line up is typically a 20 to 45 minute wait
The tonkotsu with an egg . Simple and delicious. More than enough for dinner . Friendly and quick service . I'll be back.
I had the chashu ramen and got the egg as a extra. Overall very good broth and good bite to the ramen , and didn't get bad services as reported in other reviews.
Ramen , ramen , ramen . I would have liked it a tad spicier but other than that very tasty!
Best ramen in London , worth the queue! Go for the classic Tonkatsu X!
The pork broth ramen is excellent. Add the black garlic sauce and a soft boiled egg for a truly delicious experience
Filling and delicious; rich authentic pork broth . Small space, best to try for prompt noon lunch .
Get here before 6.30pm on a weekday and you (usually) won't have to queue. Be prepared to queue for up to an hour if you get here later.
Make sure to get the Truffle Ramen ???? really tasty!!
Piping hot ramen which you slurp and slurp until you need to ask for more noodles . Even then, if you're not sated polish off the soup in the bowl.
Hands down, best ramen in the city . But be prepared to wait in line during lunchtime.
Best ramen I found in London, but not really at the level of the best spots in the US (much less Japan).
Some of the best Tonkotsu ramen in London . Add the the black garlic sauce and the egg for a perfect bowl.
Truffle ramen was amazing!
Original ramen , hardest noodle , black garlic oil and the egg . Very good
Truffle ramen noodles are AMAZING!
Good ramen . Great egg . Probably my preferred place for ramen in London .
Delicious creamy pork broth and pork belly , but disappointed with the noodles . Service was dreadful!
I thought this place was decent. Probably better than Shoryu. The gekikara ramen with tan tan ground pork was flavorful. The hard noodles was chewy enough. Overall it was fine but not spectacular.
For me a bit too far away from real Ramen taste - they have more fusion style Ramen with truffles or Yuzu-Chilli soup .
The tonkatsu broth was creamy and yet light. The ramen noodle I ordered was too soft well cooked for my liking - El Dante would have been better. The running egg is worth the extra £2 in my opinion.
Great new ramen place . Broth is really tasty. Chashu men with extra Hanjuku egg is my personal favourite.
Very creamy, very thick and very tasty tonkotsu ramen . Order the egg with it and come here hungry - it's seriously filling.
Shuromaru Hakata ramen and Aka vegetarian ramen are really good! Gyoza as well. Students (with ID) get a main dish Gyoza refreshment = 10£ on weekdays. - Kostas
Try the Tonkotsu ramen with chashu pork and 20 hour cooked pork bone broth. Awesome and Fulsome in equal measure. - Michael Hadwin
So exciting to find gluten-free options. The steamed buns with fried chicken are an absolute delight and I'll definitely be back for some more noodles soon. - Sasha Filimonov
Huge selection of beers and a very pleasant ambiance. Food is good and inexpensive too. - Ihar Ivanou
Amazing place and it’s a must if you visit London! You can spend hours & hours inside so plan well if you are time poor. Worth to hire the audio as it can be really crowded to get too close. - Maria
When in London, filtered and latte coffee from monmouth is a must! One of the best coffees i've ever tried. - Closed
