Los Agaves

As a Texan I am harsh critic of Mexican but this place is amazing. The food is fresh and there is a large selection of homemade salsas . Get the Agaves Burrito with fresh fish and shrimp .

One of my all-time fav Mexican restaurants ANYWHERE. Food is super fresh, clearly made here and portions are not huge. Casual spot with a great variety of dishes beyond standard taqueria offerings.

Parking : good luck! The food is worth the trip, parking hassle, and wait. I had enchiladas suizas ... they had just the right amount of spice. Their rice is tasty. Don't forget about the salsa bar !

Amazing food combined with friendly service made for an incredible meal. Negra Modelo on tap was the icing on the cake . Do yourself a favor and try this place when in Santa Barbara

Fantastic chile relleno burrito ! The creamy chipotle sauce they top it with is delicious, but I prefer it without sauce, topped by their excellent salsas instead.

The octopus taco special is unique and delicious while complex in flavor and texture.

Great fresh meals . A variety of real Mexican food ! Their bar for sides (salsa , lime , etc.) has a wide selection!

Good solid Mexican food that is a bit better than the Milpas location. Good mole and outdoor seating .

Tacos del mar were delicious. Also some strong, tasty margaritas .

Really liked the food here! We had a bad experience with service... a little confusion with tables on a busy night, but I'm hoping next time it will be better.

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Try the molcajetes for a hot and spicy soup .

New location is pretty good. Spacious , cool tables. Food is just as good as their main location.
