Huge & Beautiful Park . Gets a little brown Sept. -Dec. (especially if hot summer). But my favorite time is when a11 the Cherry Blossoms are in bloom. It happens fast, but it's an awesome site!!

Great park to run and walk. The lake itself 1.3 miles around and leads you off to other trails around the park . It's a massive park ! In beginning of spring, the cherry blossoms bloom. Great for picnic

I love checking daily on the ducks, geese, swans, cormorants, egrets, herons, and wigeons. Could do without all the coots, pigeons & gulls. And too many people feed the birds - Stop it!!!

This is the best place for your daily run. You'll get your cardio in, plus your fill of tranquility too.

I like to cycle the outer circuit. It's just shy of five miles around. Beware of little kids on bikes , little kids not on bikes , inattentive teens walking five abreast, 4-seater quadcycles and unleash

Great man Made lake . Dirty water but nice selection of ducks and birds. Bike rentals for 4 people. Fun to drive/ride. Nice place to read and or ride. An oasis within the reach!

Parking is usually scarce in the park next to the lake , I park using the entrance off Woodly closest to Victory in the lot next to the golf course .

Beautiful view from the top of the hill on the north side of lake . Bring some sunscreen and bug repellent and you'll be set!

Tough to find good parking , but the gorgeous views make up for it.

Great place to run, I start from Victory and Hayvenhurst and run around the pond and lake and to the official park at Balboa Blvd. and Burbank Blvd.
