Know your order when using the drive thru - there will be no time to look at the menu ...which equals HOT, FAST and AMAZING food.

I like the chopped salad a lot. I would like to order a beef or combo sometimes, but I can't get past the salad .

Sometimes I give them a goofy name - like say Carlo Gambino, or Frank Lucas. Or if you are good, you and a friend can share the names Bonnie and Clyde!

For all the NYC kids, the hot dogs here are like Shake Shack's "Chicago" dog. I was expecting a food truck (not a chain) but I'll be back to try the "Polish"

Try the chocolate cake ! Very good salads . I know everyone loves the beef , but do not overlook the burgers !

Chicken pecan salad barely fits on the plate, is full of flavorful ingredients, with thick sweet honey-based dressing on a side.

Peasant pasta is delicious! And so is pretty much every other pasta dish on the menu.

Natives rave about the beef sandwiches and hot dogs , although I have not had either.

The Chopped salad is great but recommend getting the bacon on the side if saving some for another time; bacon will get mealy because of the moisture.

Try the eclair cake omg!!! So good everyone gets chocolate this one is a hidden gem !

The Italian Beef is overrated and the service has gone downhill since being sold a few years. No thanks Crystal Lake has a better Italian Beef joint that has been there for 49 years at 14 and Dole.

Get the combo! Beef and sausage , the best of both worlds.

The Italian beef sandwiches are great. If you watch Conan, they were used in a bit on Thursday.

Beef N Cheddar Croissant is my fav but make sure they dont make it too wet or it will fall apart .

Agreed, the chopped salad is terrific, altho it can be a little heavy on the onions .

Garbage salad is a no-carbs option, although light on meat.

Order the Italian beef dipped , with sweet pepper and hot peppers on the side. Get fries with cheese sauce too!

The rigatoni el vodka from barnellis is soo good recommend it all the way!

Strawberry Shake is awesome! Highly recommend it(even if it is snowing outside!)

Lemon cake was dry and lacked lemon flavor. Very disappointed. I gave 1/2 away before tasting it. They had the same opinion. Would never buy again

This Portillo's is beyond incompetent. The service is horrible. Waited over 10 minutes at the cold beer counter. Asks to other employees to help, no help. Even called the phone # no help

The hot dogs , burgers and chopped salad are amazing.
