Traditional Icelandic food in a friendly , cosy bar also popular among the locals. The pick of this place would be the Kjötsúpa - Icelandic meat soup - a hearty bowl of lamb soup with rye bread .

Good value for money compared to other places in Reykjavic, good food and service, I just disagree with the concept of serving whale and puffin dishes.

Visited when it was not busy, but this place is right in The city center, with generous portions and value for The money. The food was on The comfort food side and very delicious

Great bar with really nice bar keepers, had the icelandic burger and a solbert aldinbjör - great combination, one of the best shandies I ever tried. Reservation is recommended if you come around 9pm.

Live music ; and at least tonight the band is an awesome combination of Grant Green, Boz Scaggs & Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. Oh and the they have ALL the beer .

In this expensive city this is a good place to try weird stuff like whale, puffin or shark meat. Crowded and cosy bar , definitely recommended ????

Try all the traditional Icelandic food . The puffin was tasty! Lobster dog was also very good.

The food is great ! Today is Saturday and was pretty full … we arrived at 21h and was able to get table but had line …

Catch of the day was one of the best pieces of cod I've ever had. There was also a very talented pianist playing in the pub .

The HusBjor (House Beer ) is really good! Lobster Dog tastes like it sounds. A nice light snack .

Very delicious! Beer is good and staff is very helpful. Fin whale in a jar is really good, but expect a small jar :)

They have very good selection of local beers , we really liked Christmas special Ipa ! Burgers are good too.

Mink whale steak ! And if you want to try fermented shark, this is a good place to try it.

Came in, said hi, waited for 15 minutes for a menu in an empty restaurant , packed my things and left. Can be nice if you get served at all.

Kjötsúpan er frábær.

Hier gibts Sólbert (Sítrus schmeckt mir am besten). Außerdem die isländische Spezialität Hákarl (fermentiertes Fleisch des Grönlandhais). Einfach eklig, aber muss man mal probiert haben. ;)
