Little in this world is more satisfying than digging a tiny fork into an open claw and removing, in one fell swoop, a massive piece of sweet lobster meat and at Smack Shack this is endless. Read more
I went here for the first time & everyone in the group of 13 loved their food! I had the salmon with stuffed lobster & shrimp with wild rice & brussel sprouts . I shared the death by chocolate dessert .
Stuffs the menu with freshly made lobster rolls , po'boys and the house favorite, lobster mac and cheese . Combining lightly poached lobster meat with a fontina and Taleggio cheese sauce . Read more
The BEST wings I have ever had. Hands down. They are fried with bacon grease and served with bacon blue cheese dressing . Add a little OLD BAY seasoning, a beer , and your set.
They always have great specials - like today the blackened shrimp Benedict - yum! Great casual seafood here....I love coming here for lunch or dinner !
Those with a bit of gustatory gumption should order the King Roll: a good half-pound of fat lobster hunks--studded with crisp bits of cucumber and celery , and dribbling a seasoned mayo . Read more
Lobster roll Connecticut style FTW! The lobster Mac and cheese was also yummy. Skip the lobster guac though. Good guac but can't taste the lobster in it.
This place is fabulous!! I had the lobster mac & cheese and the lobster roll ... Unbelievably good. I recommend everyone in the twin cities check this place out! I can't wait to go back!
Hands down my favorite seafood place. Be adventurous and skip the lobster rolls for a sampling of appetizers , or the "Jefferson Parish." Also, lobster mac and cheese !!!!
What is more adorable than shrimp and grits served in a cast iron casserole ? A very tasty shrimp and grits served in a cast iron casserole ! Read more
Minnesota's nearest coast is of the Great Lakes variety but somehow Smack Shack figured out how to bring delicious (Texas toast ! fresh tarragon !) lobster rolls to the center of the country
If you're lusting after lobster , try the lobster boil -- always a winner -- or go modern with the mac and cheese -- served with hunks of lobster and a creamy cheese sauce that tastes like a dream.
Just a few years ago, you never saw a lobster roll anywhere in the midwest. Now just about every restaurant , cafe , and corner bar has them. Smack Shack was the first, and it's still the best.
Of course anything with lobster in it is great, but I will tell you the fried chicken is out of this world. The beef tacos are fantastic as well (the tacos are small though)
Best lobster roll I've had outside of Maine. Loved the grilled peach and buratta salad , too.
The Perch Po-Boy is KILLER! The Perch is local (Red Lake , MN)! Start with the Smack Wings ! Secret is the sauce, can you say bacon ? Best place to chill in North Loop/Warehouse District!
If you love lobster , you will love this place. The Connecticut style lobster roll is simple and delicious. The cole slaw is unique.
Sunshine, Cider , and Shrimp Corn Chowder ! Smack Shack is celebrating the rise in temperature by opening up their patio for Happy Hour from 4-6pm, offering complimentary Cider and Shrimp Corn Chowder !
Everything was fantastic!! Lobster , crab legs , oysters , Mac n' cheese , guac . Yes!!!!
Happy hour is legit. Great drink and food specials. Order the lobster roll , you'll be happy you did.
Lobster MAC and Cheese ! Great spot, great service. Come for brunch , lunch , dinner - anything!
Atmosphere is perfectly warm & comfortable which matches the mood of the menu!
Lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese are the food truck favorites, but don't forget the amazing po'boys and the lobster corn dog appetizer .
Feels like New England! The lobster is fresh and delicious, no matter how you order it.
Everything was wonderful. A mild October day so we ate outside. Enjoyed the lobster roll and the lobster guacamole .
Great food, great service. Will becoming back again. I'm not sure why others are poorly rating, thumbs up here! Don't forget to look at the dessert menu !
Great Seafood . Tried the Blue Crab Po Boy and the Boston Clam Chowdah is close but not the true stuff. Make sure to play the Wheel after 6 and the pull tabs!
I've never had it but everyone raves about the lobster roll . Probably a sure thing against the boil I got with the most rubbery lobster ever. I spit it out.
Lobster Guacamole , Lobster Mac & Cheese , and Lobster Boil are fantastic! Wonderful service and great patio to top it off! Yum :)
The lobster corn dogs are so yummy.. Well everything I've had here was yummy. :)
I had lunch here on Sat. To say the food is delicious is an understatement. The Shrimp po boy is simply outstanding.
Best seafood in Minneapolis in a really hot area. Always busy so make sure to have reservations !
Try any of the rolls or the crab Po Boy . Fantastic. Lobster Mac & Cheese is amazing. So rich you could save it for dessert .
The blue crab sandwich is really good! Or the lobster Mac and cheese as an entree. Great vibes in here and awesome setup!
Lobster Mac is great, but the Bacon Mac is even better! Can't lose with a Po Boy or Lobster Roll .
Best lobster roll in the twin cities .
Awesome bartender , food, and environment! Try the lobster Mac and cheese . Best part: dog friendly patio for summer :)
Best fried chicken downtown. Maybe in the state . Maybe in the region? Only had it once. Dopamine receptors are firing.
Had blue crab PO boy . Very very good with a nice little jalapeño kick. Raw jumbo shrimp had great seasoning
Everything
They do cold and warm lobster rolls , I went with the warm version and it was delicious!
Great place to stop by for a quick bite or dinner . They are open most holidays.
Sit at the bar . Great tenders and service. Love the shrimp po boy . All staff is crazy nice
Everything is seriously delicious! It is a bit expensive , but you get what you pay for.
Lobster Roll Connecticut Style is the way to go!
The lobster roll and lobster mac are good, but don't come expecting portions to be that big. If it were cheaper, it would be amazing. But you are paying Manny's prices for food truck food.
Front corner table was great. Full view of the bar , but still private. Great Breaded Perch Po' Boy .
Lobster corn dogs were great but the lobster roll was a huge let down. Fries were over seasoned too
Freegin cool, great place to grab a drink! Super cool atmosphere on a summer night.
Fun spot, great food. Lobster Cobb and Fried Shrimp Po' Boy--good choices!
