Kenan and I found a very good sit down family place to eat. Order what kind of meat you want and the rest is all you can eat taters, gravy , green beans and corn . Awesome.

Just an amazing place. The chicken is just regular fry chicken . The mashed potato and the gravy are the key things here. No wonder they don't allow take box only bag of chicken that you can take home.

The most delicious southern comfort food ever!!! Had the chicken fried steak , fried chicken and smoked chicken all delicious!!! Sides Awesome mash potatoes , cream corn , green beans , Biscuits & gravy !!

Babes is always a great restaurant . I've had all of the entrees during different visits. This last visit I had the fried chicken . It is simply the best I've ever had, yes, even better than moms

If you want down home fixin's, Babe's is the only place to go. Biscuits and honey , chicken fried steak , mashed potatoes , banana pudding , it's all here. You'll leave very full and very happy!

Best fried chicken place in the metroplex. Bring your appetite because you can hurt yourself at this place. Generally always booked so be ready for a wait.

BYOB fried chicken like mom makes, but better. Unlimited family-style sides. Green beans , biscuits and salad (yes, salad ) are all delicious. Embarrass your dad with a birthday song and chicken hat.

Pick whatever u like from the main menu, but make sure u leave room, because when ur done, ur gonna wanna order the chocolate merengue pie . I didn't know humans could machinate anything so delicious!!

Smoked chicken was good even for breakfast the next morning. lol just wish they had something to take the sides home instead of bags. I love the family style dinning.

Love a good place that serves family-style & Babe's doesn't disappoint. Make sure to save room for some creamed corn and biscuits . Southern food that would get my Georgia grandma's approval.

If there is a healthy bone in your body you may not enjoy it. The salad is tossed with a dressing , and the veggies are greasy and buttery. The meat is good. Everything was much too rich for me!

The cream corn is SO good and the fish is okay too. The lemonade is crap but then again it could have just been today

You can order the kids chicken tenders and you still get all the sides. For me there are way too many tenders in the adult meal.

Everything is sooo delicious. If you want to take leftovers home, they give you plastic bags, or you can bring your own containers.

Oh my gosh! Where to start?! Awesome chicken fried steak ! Awesome sides! All you can eat on most of what you get. :-)

Great food, you can't go wrong. Be sure to check out the great stores on the square. Particularly the candy store and the vintage clothing store.

My first time here and it was AMAZING! I ordered the pot roast - best pot roast EVAR. This place does home cookin ' right! Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

All fried chicken , all the time. Get there early on Sunday to beat the church crowd, the place gets absolutely hectic.

Good food but they really need restaurant pagers for people waiting to be seated, rather than shouting in our ears when a table is ready.

They do not serve Chicken fried Chicken . Don't fall victim to your friends' evil plans like I did. Chicken fingers however are rival to the best I've ever had. Pot roast , not so much.

Never asked the waitress if the sweet corn is non-GMO. Turned out my girlfriend was thinking the same thing. It's the kind of thing you'd really like to know about their food.
