To get tickets without having to pay TicketMaster fees, you can go to the record store across the street (Daddy Kool). They're only open a few hours each day, but it's a great way to save a few bucks!

Sucky place to see a show. Saw security bouncing people for minor offenses. Even flash photography deserved a visit from the overzealous "security"

Give back as much energy to the band as they are putting out to the crowd. If you're at a rock show, ROCK THE F**K OUT!!!

Go the second floor! Great view from there, no sweating , and they have a bar open up there for popular shows.

I adore State Theatre! Practically grew up there with all the show's I've gone to since the 90s.

Beware of drunk dbags rockin' out in a very tight space ... Duh!
