What a great place, with great food and prices, are incredibly reasonable! Fun environment, but be warned, you will likely wait a while before being seated - but that shows how great it is!

Favorite restaurant on Earth. Authentic Mexican and Cajun food in NJ! It's cheap to eat, around $25 per person including drinks. No dessert on the menu except birthday cake because you won't want it.

Great atmosphere. Great food! The Chimichurri Steak is excellent. Swordfish Taco is great. Blackened Chicken Fingers are THE BEST! Sides are great, too (Jambalaya Rice ). Great service & reasonable $.

This is the best meal there (at least thats my opinion) but the sauce is perfect and they get the type of meat you like very well and it comes with the side of either rice or French fries .

Absolutely the best Mexican food in town . They are always busy and have a giant line but the line moves quick and the food is worth the wait! Grab one of their awesome margaritas too!

Margaritas are excellent and not overpriced. The chicken Guadalajara is my favorite but never had a bad experience with anything else on the menu. Been coming here for 20 years and still love it.

My mom loves it here I so do I it's great for youth and their food is amazing and the smell when you're in your car you can't resist the food you did it brings you in it's amazing

Everything is good, good food and service at reasonable prices. No reservations are accepted and always busy regardless of day and time so be prepared to wait for a table.

Awesome food, most meals are under $10, you get plenty, enough for leftovers. Sangria is the bomb!! Chips and salsa are fresh, if your lucky your chips will be smoking hot at your table.

Margaritas are good cheap ! Blacked catfish fajitas yummy! The best guacamole ! The apps are good. There's nothing to complain! Go go go ! Cheap but delish!

Better Mexican restaurants in Jersey. Good Swordfish Tacos , yummy Corn & Black Bean Empanadas , & insanely good Margaritas .

The margaritas are great here! The food is very tasty but salty. The salt makes you drink more margaritas and the margaritas make you eat more. Enjoyed my meal.

The best authentic Mexican restaurant out there! You have to try their margaritas , guacamole , fajitas and steak . No regrets! Great prices! No deserts tho, but no need for it

Apps: Pastelitos, Queso , Blackened Chix Fingers, and Camptown Shrimp . For entree I get blackened chix fajita . Their fries are also pretty good.

It's kind of like Chevy's. Tex-Mex, good margaritas , tasty and fresh tortilla chips . Good vegetarian options on the back of the menu. The empanadas were good.

Be ready to wait at least an hour for a table but it's totally worth it! Food is delish & service is great!

Excellent for groups and families. The wait for a table is ridiculous but the frozen margaritas and free chips w salsa help to ease that pain. :-)

Chicken guadalahara - absolutely my favorite. And they have an appetizer that we never miss - something flambado. Chorizo maybe. Cheese and fresh soft fluffy tortillas . Mmm.

If you come to Tejas on a night or weekend, don't come hungry, come "almost hungry". The wait will mitigate your hunger.
