Truffled Hakka abacus trio $10.80. Lower your expectations about the “truffle”; we didn’t detect any. Chewy gnocchis made in in tri-colours: yam (white), sweet potato (yellow), chinese yam (purple)

Grilled “fish ” in miso broth was aromatic & tasty. Would order again. Portions sufficient for 4-5 adults, with side orders
Tofu box in spinach broth $16.80. Chopped up mixed mushrooms filling in the middle. Clean flavours but other than the plain green sauce , it is a forgettable dish
Pandan lemongrass tea ($8.80 per pot, refillable hot water). Soothing, pleasant drink. Mini cups provided to enjoy small sips
Luo Han Zhai (translated: Buddha’s Delight) w glass vermicelli , served in claypot $12.80. A clean-tasting dish to balance your other orders
Sweet & sour mushroom $12.80. Another perennial family favourite. Not overly sweet or sour. Complete with fried crust
Mapo tofu $10.80. Not overly spicy that it’s unpalatable. Very aromatic. Enjoyed it with white rice
Buttered abalone mushroom $13.80 was seriously yummy! Loved the crispness with each
Cold drinks. Aromatic green tea with osmanthus jelly $4.80 (left). Decent iced lemon tea $3.80
