Getting 大飽 with my dad here is one of my favorite childhood memories. I still come here to get them every once in a while.

Misty

Steam buns for lunch , steam buns for dessert ! Try the vegetable steam buns for lunch , and fried sesame balls to go after.

Martin D. Ciao

Walking around Chinatown, you'll see tons of people walking w/ a bun in their mouth, Chinese BBQ Pork Bun . Great blend of sweet and savory. Very close to Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden !

Clay Tang

love this gem. There's a reason it's been there for decades n still bumping. go for the buns and indulge in an apple tart perhaps. Veggie buns sell out quick...but try it with the hot oil if you can.

Donna Eng

Must tries: 1. Apple tarts which are better described as round turnovers! 2. Steamed buns - BBQ pork , chicken , veggie & pork , you get the idea. 3. Take some frozen buns home to steam for yourself!

Dan Mondragón Somera

They make they own pastries . I would say dim sum and buns are the best choice. You can just order bread but there's a line

Besides their delicious steamed buns ... remember the restaurant in the back is pretty good too. Chinese "Comfort Food " at resonable prices. No decor ~ just good food.

Check out the new digs. The new New Town looks almost exactly like the old New Town , only cleaner. I don't know if that's good or not.
