Great place for groups. More food than you can typically eat. The Beacon is a landmark and a "must visit" place in South Carolina .

Awesome place.. Atmosphere is what makes it so great.. Treated like family.. Great food.. Come prepared to eat!

The food was the bomb, everything on Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives that they said about this place is true.

The Bacon Double Cheeseburger was good and I only could eat half till I got full. The only downfall was the bread was a bit dry. The lemonade was better than the sweet tea . The A-Plenty is a overkill.

Went here after getting turned away at Ike's. Good service & great food. Always very welcoming.

Get the Slice-a-Plenty heavy on the Red. It is out of this world. And try the Peach Cobbler .

Best Sweet Tea and pulled pork I've ever had. The guest experience here is full of character and hospitality . A must go:-)

Love the Southern Charm here! Walk & Talk while you Call It :) try the peach cobbler , it's heavenly!

As a Spartanburg native, I only come here once a year for my annual colon cleansing.

This place needs an infusion of customers & some major help in the quality of their food. I've waited years to try this Spartanburg icon - very disappointed. Old time visitor went and said it was sad

Don't bother coming here. The food is just cheap frozen stuff covered with grease and the "famous" ordering system is just a gimmick that causes them to screw up your order and treat you rudely.

It's scary when you're in line because everyone is yelling at you

Came here once in 2007, had a friend order my food. Sat down waiting for her to get the eats, saw a roach, gave the food back & got my $$ back. Never came back.

When ever Detroit Techno Militia is in town , we eat at the Beacon.

The food is awesome

Great if you love grease, and this is south carolina , so who doesn't!? Just don't eat here too much.
