Mount Washington

The Gulfside Trail is a great way to get there, but be aware that the path is almost nonstop boulders which, if you can't step quickly and lightly over them, turn a 5 hour walk into a 8 hour nightmare

Beautiful views on a clear day . The weather is much different at the summit than the base. Very windy and cold bring a hoodie. A must see if passing through the region. Allow 3 hours to enjoy the trip

We went on perfect weather conditions. It took us 2h50 to climb up by Lion's head. After a 40min break, we went down by Tuckerman's ravine in 2h10, for a total of 5h40. I recommend the same trails !!!

Drive to the top, the view is amazing esp during the fall. If you have fear of heights it’s not advisable for you to drive, there’s guided tour at autoroad.

Bizarre hiking experience to hike a giant mountain and then wind up at a summit flooded with tourists and a gift shop . View , when you can see it, can't be beat.

The summit road is pretty sketchy . And make sure you have some rain gear too, the weather gets pretty wild at the top.

Don't miss view at the top. It's awesome but, don't forget to take winter clothing . It's really cold out there

One of my favorite places to visit in New England. Dress very warm. It will be windy and cold up there.

This is a crazy drive up the mountain , but you won't regret it. In the summer, in particular, cars, bikes , motor Homes climb to see the views that are breath taking.

Pick a bright sunny day for a visit to the summit of Mount Washington. Whether you go by car, by rail or by foot, you’ll be wise to bring warm clothing along.

It's amazing to experience the difference in weather from the bottom to the top.

Great view when the weather is just right. Check the observation camera before you drive up.

Go up Boott Spur Trail for spectacular views and less hikers. Take Lion Head down for views over Tuckerman.

Always cool, no matter if it's clear or in the clouds!

Be sure to drive up so you can enjoy the overlooks.

If you go up by car, make sure to have a least half a tank of gas, that will prevent a lot of stress...
