This place seriously has everything you could imagine. Rock climbing to steam showers , if you dont get a full workout here you have to be crazy! Free for UI students as well !!
Offers variety of state of the art equipment for every fitness level. By adding swimming , wall climbing , & massages they're just showing off.
Being such a recent addition to campus, The Rec Center is a great place to go if you are stressed and need to relax. You can run on the treadmill while watching one of your favorite tv shows.
Everytime I go there is very calm (at night)! I can do my exercises in my own rythm without the pressure of others. Very complete. Try the smoothies , they are very tasty!
Aug 19th @10pm, the Class of 2015 will take over our state-of-the-art Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, participating in activities of all kinds! Tropical Smoothie will provide refreshments!
Get your sweat on at the state of the art recreation center ! Be sure to climb the 52.5ft rock wall, before heading over to to the cafe to cool off with a tropical smoothie !
The beach body boot camp program is well worth it, especially if you're already a gym member (students included)
if the steam room is working, it's definitely worth dropping in after your workout.
Go before 10 am or after 8pm if you want to work out peacefully
You're going to have to go either early morning or late night . If you go around noon or late afternoon it's going to be really packed
Make sure you try one of the rec center smoothies after your workout! They are delicious!
Can be overcrowded during the day, but a great place to workout. Pick-up basketball games are constantly going down

Tropical Smoothie doesnt have many vegetarian items on the menu but the banana-honey flatbread is incredible.
Don't get a smoothie unless u want to waste your workout like 700 cals for a big one
The butt/thigh machine is where it's at.
Avoid 'rush hour' at this place. Try early morning or late night .
