Everything is good here - service, food, cocktails , I come back year after year because I know I'm going to enjoy the whole experience, worth it! Snag a table up front and enjoy people watching !
A Boston classic, great at any time of the day from breakfast to dinner ! Cheeseburger pizza and the tuna poke are the stars of the cafe menu! Bar is lively any day of the week with great cocktails ????
Romantic atmosphere , nice food, & cocktails . Loved the clams chowders , the oysters selection , and the salad ????????
Went for brunch this morning and it was just as good as always! The complimentary breakfast breads were out of this world. I recommend the frittata and the baked eggs .
Beer-soaked mussels appetizer is delicious with lots of garlic . Brunch also great. Try the truffles or the warm chocolate bread pudding for dessert .
They have a great brunch menu , and even have a completely separate gluten free menu they'll give you if you ask for one. The gluten free bread is pretty good, a bit crumbly.
Try the Spinach , ricotta , mozzarella , feta , and garlic pizza . It's very light and the crust is so yummy!
If you like breakfast , but like hash brown potatoes even more, then brunch at Sonsie is an absolute must. Sit by the open window, then get ready to enjoy a brunch you won't soon forget.
Great brunch , including a great wet cappuccino with sweet espresso . Busy on weekends but it's a big place so the wait is never that bad
The seasonal Moscow mule was great -- uses apple & cinammon infused vodka . Bartenders really seemed to care
The Tiger Lily is one of the best cocktails I've ever had!
If you gonna eat carbs then the French toast is the way to go - on a bigger sugar rush than bungee jumping naked!
Excellent food with eager and friendly staff . Fun atmosphere . Great for romantic date or family dinner . Mildly pricey , but totally worth it!
Was always my favorite back when. Hasn't changed. A must go everytime I am back in town . I specially enjoy the very attentive and friendly bar staff
The atmosphere is not my cup of tea , but great for someone who's into "the scene"- Cosmetically enhanced women looking for rich men & older married men looking for barely legal jailbait.
Our group loved the downstairs bar . Always great people watching upstairs but I prefer downstairs if you have a group :)
Best food and drinks on Newbury. Been there many times and at odd times of day and Eve. Great food and drinks!
The pizza with butternut squash , bacon , Brie , and mozzarella is perfect!
Butternut squash soup is divine here. With apples , maple cream, and black pepper granola...good to the last spoonful.
Really nice! Excellent food, drinks, environment and music ! Better to make reservation .
Jason really recommends Sonsie, especially the hidden basement bar area. Check out his Favecast recommendation here- http://favecast.com/video/page/v/aCKMtUZ56i/t/
As everyone else suggests, get the mussels , my extra bit... ask for extra bread .
Calamari appetizer was amazing! Had a salty/vinegar taste to it which made it different than all others I've tried before.
Brunch is the best meal here. Quiche , Eggs Benedict, and the Huevos Tortilla are your best bets!
Adore the seasonal menu that always has something fresh and seasonally inspired.
Don't let the name deceive—this sexy Cosmo Cocktail is available all year long. Order up the Snow Cosmo for a delish mix of citrus vodka , white cranberry juice , and Cointreau . Read more
Great place for breakfast ! And it's in Newbury street :)
Brunch was amazing and get the spicy Bloody Mary
A very good place for brunch ! You don't want to miss eating the French toast or the fried calamari they serve!
Great bar on Newbury. Opened all the windows in summer which was great.
Liked the shrimp scampi pasta . Great cocktails too. Esp the espresso martini
This restaurant had the best restaurant playlist: The Black Keys, Andrew Bird, The National, Lana Del Rey, The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons…
Awesome place! People watch , great food... beautiful atmosphere. Great prices, too!
Last visit was for my bachelorette party for drinks and apps 6 years ago and we watched a creepy guy get wrestled to the ground by Boston Police and was hog tied out on a pole. Today, better visit!
Ambience and decor was good. The chicken is definitely the one to go for
Spicy Bloody Mary 's there's feta cheese in the pepper garnish
The french toast here is awesome for brunch and the cocktails are delicious. Try going on a sunny day so you can people watch through the doors.
Small plates were amazing: especially scallops oysters and the sautéed spinach .
Great corned beef/sweet potato hash with poached eggs . The best!!
Breakfast - granola or breakfast sandwich . Dinner you have to do a pizza
One of my favorite spots in Boston for drinks, lunch or dinner . Favs: SALAD - Chicken Caesar w/ lime dressing ; PIZZA - chicken w/ chipotle, lime , jack, salsa , sour cream , & guacamole

Made a reservation , arrived early and spoke to the hostess , who kept us waiting as she sat walk-ins before us. Eventually gave us a slanted table. Food: bland. Service: fine. Drinks: pricey & small.
