Flying Fish offers a relaxed lakefront atmosphere and simple, hearty fare. the seafood gumbo on fried grits is my favorite here. it's something i can't get at any other restaurant ...that i am aware of. it's not the only excellent dish, but it is my favorite. :)

Their fried catfish was very good! They also have pretty good tarter sauce.

They don't devein their butterflied fried shrimp . They don't filter the water they use for cooking or their drink machine. Their horseradish tasted like it was made with dirty pond water.
