The Bronx trattoria serves wood-fired pizzas that have puffy brown crusts and pleasantly moist, floppy centers. Some think that they serves the finest example of Neapolitan-style pizza in NY. Read more
Zuppa di Pesce is a winner and pizza for an appetizer is also very good. We will be going back here when we are in the Bronx. Right across the street from Teitel Bros. which is a great store.
Pizza and pasta were delicious. Decor, which presumably is the work of a Broadway set designer, gives the feeling of being in Italy at night. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable .
Had the margarita pizza . Perfectly thin and soft crust. By far the best pizza in nyc- said it and stand by it. Service was quick - didnt wait at all for the pizza to arrive fresh outta the oven.
Shouldn’t be missed if you are visiting Arthur Avenue ! I had rabbit stew (which was great), but if you like more traditional fare, they have it as well as beautiful brick oven pizzas .
Beautiful restaurant . Beautiful & delicious food. What a pleasure to have a gracious waiter happy to accommodate 2 women sharing an appetizer and an entrée (we have dinner party in a few hours). Yes!
Beautiful brick oven makes some serious Neapolitan pizza . Outer crust has just the right amount of chew, while the bottom was nicely browned and caramelized .
The meatballs and polenta were outstanding. We had a rigatoni special that was the best bowl of pasta I've had outside of Italy.
Pizza to die for. The Nero di Sapia pasta is top notch. But service matches your expectations. Great place, not cheap ...
Nice little spot in Little Italy. Took dad here for Father’s Day. The Cabernet was yum but i feel for the price you, you can go to manhattan & spend the same on a better meal. Wine & pizza are good
I love the food here. It's a bit pricey but it's good. I always get the black cuttlefish ink pasta , it's messy to eat but definitely worth it! Delicious!
Love everything about this place. Don't just limit yourself to the pizza . This place pumps out authentic Italian plates too. Try a pasta dish or even the steak .
La Riccardo pizza (butternut squash puree , smoked mozzarella , spicy pancetta & basil ) is totally unique & absolutely delicious. Didn't even miss the tomato sauce . LOL.
Serves some of the best Pizza and Italian on Arthur Avenue . Try the La San Matteo or the Polpettine Polenta E Caprino. The service here is amazing.
Many restaurants were about to close except Zero Otto Nove.We were so Lucky! The staff was excellent and the risotto and mixed seafood entree I had was delish! The other person had steak with greens
"This is traditional pizza , the way it has been made in the Old Country for hundreds of years...You can take deep-dish pizza and throw it in the Gowanus Canal with all the other trash" Read more
The “fish platter ” reminds me of Christmas Eve with my relatives (—If ur Italian, and it swims , it’s eaten!) although even better!!!
Awesome atmosphere and super delicious pizza ! I ordered the quattro formaggi and shared with the table. Excellent Pinot Noir house red too :)
Great atmosphere! Try the calamari and fish dishes . Tiramisu for dessert :-)
One of my favorite restaurants in the city . You will feel transported to another time and place. Amazing food, service and ambiance
Try -> Neapolitan wood-fired-oven pizza - Margherita (light and puffy-lipped, tender to the bite with just a hint of chew, nicely balanced, and topped with first-rate ingredients) Read more
The pizzas are incredible. The mussels are also great, and there's a few good beers and lots of wine .
Beef short ribs , La Riccardi pizza , and fish special with clams and grape tomatoes must try!
Basic pizza margherita is all kinds of fresh-fantastic. Ask about pasta specials , too. I had a bucatini w/zucchini and pecorino that was out of this world.
Great atmosphere and great food. Try the pasta specials .
Chicken cutlet , pizza , and meatballs were incredible. Be careful signing the check because the pen could ruin your shirt .
The linguine con vongole was way over-salted. Arugula salad was simple & fresh, kids enjoyed the pizza .
Excellent pizza . The crust is just perfect as well as the cheese to sauce ratio
Eggplant Parmigiana was the best I've had.
The Pizza & eggplant parmigiana was perfect. Sit in the main room for high ceilings and good environment.
Try the Butternut squash pizza – sage , gruyè re, speck ham , arugula , butternut squash pure ́e - (via @Foodspotting)
On 3/6/12, I was here to outline how NYC's restaurant grading system has been good for public health and the City 's economy: http://bit.ly/yzcYW3
Get the margarita pizza , it's amazing
Delicious, interesting Italian food in a environment like a Piazza in Italy.
you really can't go wrong here - whether pasta , meat, or fish dishes . the menu is very inventive, the service great. the tirimisu is amazing!
You have to order the octopus
Great service. Try a pizza . One of the fish specials, and tiramisu They don't take Amex!! So the special doesn't work here
My fav is squid ink pasta . Otherwise the specials are usu awesome.
Some of the best pizza this city has to over. Can't go wrong with a classic like the margherita .
Great pizza and squid in pasta ????????
The Potato & Sausage was hands down our favorite!
This place has the chewiest pizza I've ever had. I've been to Italy and this pizza is nowhere close.
Sit in the front bar area on a hot day. No A/C or fans in the back dining area
