McKay Used Books & CDs

If you have any books , movies , etc. This is where you should go. Excellent trade-in value. I always take my finished novels , and put pocket change with them and you leave with months of good reads :-)

One of my favorite places to while away the hours. McKay's is best appreciated when you come with no agenda and plenty of time. If you love book browsing, you won't be disappointed with this place.

Always great! Only downside is that some low lifes remove CDs, DVDs, and Video Games from their cases. So make sure you check and see that the disc in the case. But other than that, great experience!

If you are looking for a specific book , ask the cashier in which section it would be shelved. We love paying less for books and selling books for a new person to enjoy.

Love McKay, loyal customer for years. Surprised when they didn't take James Patterson book . I've gotten trade credit on much shabbier books by far less popular authors. Confusing!

Great prices on books and Cd's but a bit high on games, they will give you a bigger trade value though so if your trading it will work out good but just to buy you may want to cheek around first.

Huge warehouse size store. Two levels, CDs upstairs. Well organized book selection down. No many places to sit with your book , though.

Get to know the staff , they'll give you heads up on cool, new releases. It's how I got Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King in hardcover when it first came out!

Great books for a cheap price! If you're willing to look around you can find awesome books for 20 cents or less! Love this place!

Also ask to check game discs before purchasing. The sticker may or may not say very scratched. I purchased a game that was cracked in the middle only to find it back on regular shelves two days later.

This place is amazing. But sometimes they get picky on what they want to take.

Compare some game prices as they are not always updated to competitors prices. (ex. Call of Duty Black Ops has been marked down to 24.97 at most places, at McKays its still $39.97.

Always choose credit over cash for your trade . It's a better deal.

A little too big and hard to find things sometimes. Check out the Gaming and Sci-fi aisle though. Good for a snicker .

Come by often and check the free bins in front of the store!

Prices used to be great. Now not so much. Found a book I was looking for and the cover price was cheaper than their asking price. Probably won't be back

Check the bargin games though. If you are lucky you may find something good.
