The Heart of New Orleans Food - Music - Culture. The favorite spot among NOLA locals.
300 - 635 Frenchmen St New Orleans , LA 70116 United States
Get away from the tourists in the French Quarter, and go where the locals go to hear the best jazz in the city . Best part? You can bring Becherovka with you in a to-go cup.
Off the beaten tourist path- live music , great food, no vomiting frat boys who can't handle their liquor . It's where adults go to have a good time and soak up that NOLA vibe.
It's a concentration of simple Jazz & Blues clubs on Frenchmen Street. It's a fest on the street! An easy place to meet new people wanting nothing more than to chill just like you!
Love it here... so many street performers and live music everywhere -- plenty of venues with no or low cover and great live bands playing all night!!!
Lots of middling music venues , with one or two standouts. Lots of jam sessions to be listened in on.
An alternative to Bourbon St - where the locals prefer to hang.
This was my favorite street experience in New Orleans. Art , music , great food!
Maison offers a good variety of musicians and friendly service ! Try them out! Lots of fun there! My favorite group is The Tanglers.
Café Rose Nicaud has THE BEST pecan tarts & Hibiscus tea ! They also feature wraps , coffees , bakery items & great breakfast sandwiches ! #NOLA #NOLAYum
Bar after bar of excellent live music . This is the place to go at night, not Bourbon Street (gag me).
Come here for a little more class and much better music . Has gotten surprisingly crowded over the years!
The Spotted Cat - What a FABULOUS place for live music , dancing if you want, and drinks. Relaxed, friendly , fun!
d.b.a., The Spotted Cat , Snug Harbor , Mimi’s in the Marigny… Molly’s (they have really tasty frozen irish coffees )
Where the locals go for hands down best Jazz in the city . Take a cab from Bourbon it's not safe to walk it-
Better than Bourbon , in the sense that is not THAT crazy. Lots of places with live music !
Tons of clubs and bars with live music of all kinds. Just pick a place
Frenchmen St. is s great place to hangout and see live music , grab food or get a tattoo .
Come here if you enjoy music , art , good food and drinks, and a happy and relaxed vibe . Amazing spot
Better than Bourbon Street if you're looking for the real live music experience
Music , bars , street fairs . All the good of New Orleans without the drunken madness.
Catfish bites at The Praline Connection are THE BEST! #nola #dishcrawlnola #yum
Take in the amazing atmosphere and enjoy the live bands playing in the street
The Frenchmen Art Market is a most do thing at night.
Almost all of the bars have great live music nightly.
Definitely go to Snug Harbor for dinner and excellent jazz !
Walk around and take in the live music wherever you can
Wonderful spot to experience some of NoLa's best music
Nobody should ever forget that 19 people were shot on Frenchmen St, on Mothers Day 2013.
The new bourbon st, better music & foods
Hands down, the best place for jazz in Nee Orleans!
Frenchmen is what Bourbon was 40 years ago. We'd like to stay the way we are
Better music , better bars . Less tourists .
New Bourbon , great music & foods
THIS is the place for the best halloween ever.
New Orleans:Frenchmen::New York:Williamsburg
If you came to New Orleans for the party, stay on Bourbon . This you'll find boring
Back to back jazz bars ????
Best place to go for Halloween . Promise
Krewe du Vieux 6:00 Saturday, Feb 15th!
Multiple live music venues , party in the street on busier weekends.
Like a bourbon street for locals.. Skip the tourist trap and go here
Best place to be at Nola
Great music and bars
Good music and 2 Tattoo places.
Fav spot for nightlife
If you're a tourist -- stay on Bourbon Street! This is the last place for the locals to go out and have great drinks, great music & fun with friends without "kitschy drinks" & t-shirt shops!
Big in the EZ
Great neighborhood to go out in New Orleans. While the French Quarter is an experience, this is a more organic local experience.
This is not Bourbon Street. Please behave
Never pull out a pack of cigarettes on the street. You'll be swarmed
