This is Reykjaviks best bar . Their music is great, and the atmosphere is amazing. A great combo is to get shitfaced and then come back in the morning for cheap diner coffee and a hangover-buster.

Great for a quick bite or few drinks. Not expensive . Relaxed and cosy atmosphere . I loved the note in the restroom .

It has a good pub food and a happy hour on beers between 4pm & 8pm every day. The five-dollar milkshake is one of their trademarks, but ironically it costs around 1590 isk (around 12 USD). Read more

Nice place to get brunch . The American pancakes with bacon are delicious and reasonably-priced. Love the wooden interior design of the bar .

Really liked this place and its authentic vibe. Food and service were good when I was there. I especially enjoyed the menu, which has almost all of my favorite foods. Would go again in a heartbeat.

It may look unpretentious, but the breakfasts here are fantastic — and the sausage and bacon here are especially delicious.

Known as the oldest bar in Iceland, it's mellow by day but turns into a hip hop venue by night. Multiple floors and patios provide space for both dancing and chatting.

The music and the guys sitting in the bar a Sunday morning are so genuine 50's-60's that the place almost feels fake. It's perfect.

Great place to experience local Reykjavik shenanigans. There is a chill outdoor area you can access from the second floor.

A really nice Café/Bar and its been here since 1951! You can have breakfest, lunch or go drinking with friends (on weekends)!

The music here is good and likewise the nightlife experience. The following day it's recommended to get the food they serve for genuine and extreme hangovers.

Breakfast is great! An Icelandic version of an old-school American diner .

As an American in Iceland, I can say this is great food hungover or not. Good portions and prices on both the food and beer . Chicago Club, Hangover Sandwich and Steak Sandwich are all great.

drink coffee till round 11 then order up a beer and start dancing , during weekends i recommend getting a beer and hanging out in the court yard.

The restaurant upstairs can get busy, but the food is worth the wait!

Ok burger , good value . This place gets crowded really fast in the evening, so don't wait too long if you're planning to eat dinner here.

Poor to average quality lunch/diner, but makes a caterpillar-butterfly transformation during friday and saturday late nights when it turns into a world class hip hop dive bar .

Don't be put off by the rustic interior. The food here was amazing, the atmosphere and music chilled and relaxed and staff friendly . Come in and try one of the burgers with sweet potato fries .
