If you tire of the cramped coolness (and pollution) of Chiang Mai proper, make your way to Asama Cafe . When I visited, they were using beans roasted by Tim Wendelboe and Square Mile for pourovers .

Super quiet coffee shop in an area of Chiang Mai that not many people would otherwise visit. Great outdoor seating . Don't come here for work, but instead to relax for a few hours.

Unique flavors of coffee with an attitude. Try their signature GRAVITY if you're in for a creamy experience. Espresso Panna cotta is a little too sweet for me. Sit outside and enjoy the greenery .

Tiny café with excellent coffee . Very friendly staff . Owner's a pro and get you what you need for your daily dose of high quality caffeine.

Great atmosphere, by the lake . Their green tea latte was really good! And food is available but need to eat in the inside area

Coffee is the best! Bakery is proper sweet and the backyard view has reached our relaxation.

Quite a few Indonesians rave about this place, but for me it wasn't that great. It's a long way out of town yes the coffee was good, but that was it. Not worth the journey there in my view .
