Good food, great service, inviting decor. The papardelle with wild boar was the winner. The chicken liver pate was good but too intense. Get the pistachio gelato if you have room.
Best of Boston 2016: Romantic Restaurant ???? :: Delicate house-made gelato and hand-rolled pastas with simple sauces, almost all available with a dusting of shaved truffles .
Be sure to bring a big group and get the big table near the kitchen where they roll the pasta . Ask to have Betzy as your server. She's aces!
Some of the best seasonal cocktails and appetizer dishes in Boston! You have to get the pesto potato pasta - so tasty.
For a dream dinner order the Warm Semolina Cakes , Arancini , Burrata , Tiny Clams , Fusilli Integrale ‘Cacio e Pepe , Farro Caserecca, & the Ribeye with a side of Wild Boar Pappardelle !
(Best of Boston 2013-RISING STAR Improper Bostonian says, "This man is the pasta whisperer. By day, you can watch the veteran of Via Matta, Radius and Chicago's famed Trio practice his magic."
Fresh pasta is fantastic, but do not overlook the $5 sfizzi bites like the warm semolina cakes with parmiagiano crema .
I cannot even describe what a wonderful experience the chef 's tasting menu with wine pairings was. One of the best meals of my life!
The pasta with oxtail braised for four hours in red wine was excellent, but it's hard to go wrong here.
The food, drinks and service are all outstanding. If it's still there, get the Pimms & Stormy cocktail !
Halibut Crostini was delicious! Flatbread with ramp pesto was FABULOUS. Spearpoint oysters were on point.
The meal itself did not meet my high expectations, but the chocolate tartine + vanilla gelato dessert was out of this world.
Pasta with Wild Boar was amazing! The chef and waiter both went above and beyond with service. Absolutely recommend this resteraunt.
This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! Mmmn that wild boar .
They'll make almost any of the dishes vegetarian if you ask! The bucatini and farfalle were both amazing.
Excellent creative modern Italian Michelin * level food in friendly atmosphere
The wild boar with pappardelle was delicious! Cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory.
Wonderfully prepared Italian delicacies, awesome staff , great cocktails .
Try the semolina cakes and the bagna cauda (salumi with anchovy sauce)
I had the most perfectly cooked clams I've ever had in my life.
Pappardelle is delicious and everything else on the menu
Definitely try the brussels sprouts ! Very tasty.
All handmade pasta . All delicious.
The pasta is fantastic, especially the pappardelle .
Treating menu, and pasta are the best!
Wow! Fabulous. Best Italian restaurant in Boston.
Fantastic food. Wild boar pasta is delicious.
Now open for just over a year, Giulia has racked up a number of highly positive reviews for its house-made pasta and warm staff . The pappardelle with wild boar is a popular choice. [Eater 38 Member]
Cocktails are great
Despite the lack of a Dyson Air Blade, this is still a fantastic restaurant

Yeah, what they said-- get the boar .
Wild boar .
The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal. That said we did not have the best service - staff was not welcoming
Although the flavours were good, the restaurant horribly lacks vegetarian options . Also disappointed with the bucatini I got. It was more like bucatini olive oil soup and less bucatini pasta .
Hands down the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in the greater Boston area. Food is reasonably priced and they import 75% of their products from Italy. Service is great too! - Jeremy Krantz
always amazing food and wine - the mushroom pappardelle is absolutely velvety, but the again we’ve never had a bad meal here - Chrissy Boyles
There are so many different unique flavors!! I tied honey lavender and bay leaf... very yummy!! - Ana Rosso
I like almost everything but Beer, Frozen mudslide, mac n cheese bites, and southern fried chicken are my favorites - Rich Sarchioni
