Gore Park is the connection to #Galt Ontario in #HamOnt. The Park was a gift to the citizens of Hamilton from 'Gore Mutual Insurance'... Weird eh?

They give out free food every Saturday

Apparently this used to be a giant mudhole in the 1800's. Must be a major improvent. Nice place to sit down and have a bite to eat.

When the new MacNab Transit Terminal is completed in fall 2010 buses will no longer serve the park directly. The new terminal is about 200m west of Gore Park.
