Today I tried the Broccoli with Tofu curls . It was delicious. The curls had a great texture. I love that this menu has so many vegetarian and vegan options . Really a must try!
One of the few spots in Portland to score XLB (soup dumplings )! Their mapo tofu with pork belly is so damn good, bubbling hot, full frontal chili flavor, a perfect rainy day or winter dish.
The Lamb Bao Bing was awesome (spicy , numbing, sweet, moist), as were the Brussels Sprouts (crunchy, tangy , porky)!!!
Stupid name for a restaurant , but actually really impressed with my pork belly mapo tofu ! The flavor was great and the pork was so juicy.
Best Chinese-ish food in the neighborhood . Shareable plates. Cherry tofu and Kung Pow! beef were well seasoned. Ask to increase the heat level when ordering.
Pretty much everything I've tried is great. Green beans , brussel sprouts , cherry pork .
So many vegan options ! The Mongolian soy curls are A+. So are the vegan dumplings .
Offers a variety of Chinese dishes . Food was tasty and service was good. Centrally located on NW 21st.
Handmade noodles . Lemon Pepper Prawns . Wonton appetizer . All delicious!
Go-tos: Potstickers , Wontons , Pork Belly Brussel Sprouts , Sesame Beef
Wonton & Hot n Sour soup were very good. Hot Jasmine tea very tasty.
Great music , nice spot for some old school Chinese fare.
Decent hot and sour soup . Food is filling but not very memorable. Likely the worst XLB (dumplings ) and mapo tofu I’ve ever had.
Probably the best Chinese food in this quadrant.
Decent place if you are into Americanized Chinese food . Unfortunately I am not into Americanized Chinese food .
promising but needs work
Does anyone find the name of this place offensive to Asians, esp for a city that is so politically correct?
