A great place for young children and toddlers. I bring our 16 month old twins once a week. There is a playroom in the front of the museum . They spend hours there exploring & making new friends.
Fantastic events all year. Perfect for the whole family and repeat visits. And "Collector's Day" might be my favorite day of the year.
The front desk is just there to scare you; almost everything's free (except the butterfly rainforest , if you're not a UF student ), so you can just go around it when you walk in.
The exhibits are excellent. Spend a couple hours and enjoy it don’t try to speed through it there’s a lot to learn here.
Very interesting! They often have events . Free for UF students with ID. Make sure to go to the butterfly rainforest !
Wonderful museum on UF campus. Nice play area for young kids. Lots to learn here. Check their website for new traveling exhibit schedule.
Besides the great exhibits , you can see scientists at work in their laboratories . A unique part of this museum .

Have to see the Butterfly Rainforest . Don't forget about the other exhibits . Filled with lots of information. Plan on spending a few hours here.
Fun and informative exhibits , but butterfly rainforest is the best part. UF students get in free!
Mostly free. Only required to pay for special exhibits . Great on cold or rainy days, especially if you have several hours to spend.
Everything! But the icing on the cake is the butterfly garden . Military get in for free

The Butterfly exhibit is a must. You'll have an amazing time in there!
The collection of prehistoric Florida fossils, including giant sharks, are especially impressive.
The Butterfly Garden was so awesome!

Great hang out for kids to have hands on experience and the butterfly exhibit is really amazing.
