Atomica is our constant favorite, but we had the Brussels sprout one tonight and holy moly. Also, check this dessert heaven. Most delicious mascarpone !
Go for the extraordinary, egg-topped Amatriciana , or Bauer's favorite, the Atomica , or any of the rotating seasonal pies, and you'll see what a great dough recipe and a hot gas oven can do. Read more
Excellent pizzas and friendly service . Get there early as if you don’t have a reservation as tables fill up fast.
This is one of our top 3 pizzas in the bay , though it fell a little flat last time. Fresh corn pizza in the summer. Love the goddess salad too, when they have it.
Stellar pizza . We ordered the one with mushrooms/lemon with a gluten-free crust. I’m not gluten-free, but I would venture to say it’s the best gluten-free pizza in SF...
The atomica was really nice. Thin crust that tastes as pizza should. One of the best pizza I've had in San Francisco.
Great pies and great service. Put your name on the list then head over to Glen Park Station bar to wait. They'll come get you when your table is ready.
If I didn't love the pizza so much, I might just head for the salad and the little meatballs bubbling in a cauldron of tomato sauce glazed with aged provolone ($9). Read more
Everything tasted amazing but the heirloom tomato pizza was especially good!
Try the Miss Figgy Pizza - I was surprised how well the figs paired up with prosciutto . I wish this place was our neighborhood pizzeria !
Try the Polenta W/ Roasted Cauliflower , Basil & Chili Oil - #kvpinmybelly : Celebrating #MardisGras with a spicy kick ! Polenta was packed with flavor.
Seriously underrated. Probably some of the best pizza in town . Get the amatriciana and add an egg .
Try the Farro Salad - #kvpinmybelly : Tasty combo corn , tomatoes and summer vegetables . Then add mozzarella ! My kind of salad !
A great reason to check out quaint "downtown" glen park ! Check out chef/owner, Sharon Ardiana, on SkillExchangeSF.com to learn how to make a pizza !

Try the Wild Nettles & Pancetta Pizza - #kvpinmybelly : Enjoyed the smoky flavors from the nettles paired with the salty #pancetta !
What can I say except that this is the best pizza in the universe , esp. the seasonal heirloom tomato pie . Staff is terrific; non-pizza items superb. Gialina herself is often there making the pies Read more
Cozy seating and often busy, but great atmosphere. Both the pizza pies and desserts are great!
Awesome Neapolitan style pizza with beautiful charred thin crusts
Pizza atomica . Simply amazing. I also recommend peach , arugula , goat cheese salad . Show up early or be patient and wait for your table.
Try the Squash Blossoms - #kvpinmybelly : Stuffed cheesy goodness in #SF Glen Park . Also loved guacamole sauce
My favorite pizza place now. Their pizza dough or base is so tasty
All of the pizzas are delicious. Great neighborhood place !
Lots of kids on Fridays. Day's are better. Try Heirloom tomato pizza and padron peppers app.
Yucangold potato pizza and lamb and yogurt pizzas are amazing
It’s worth a trek to Diamond Heights to score one of Gialina’s droolworthy pizzas . We love the Amatriciana , which stars a cast of tomato , pancetta , chilies, a farm egg and pecorino cheese . Read more
Worth the drive. The food is only second to the owner, Sharon, who is an absolute sweetheart. -Yigit Pura, Top Chef Just Dessert
The burrata salad is the one of the best things I've ever had.
The salads and the pizzas are all amazing.
The pizza is decent but not so great that it makes Gialina a destination. Also to note, they make the crunchy thin thin kind. If doughy is more your jam , this isn't the place for you.
Eat all the pizzas ! Try all the things!
Yes yes great pizza , but here is a real tip! Can't find street parking ? Park in the gravel lot on Kern. Just don't block the other restaurant 's back door.
Order the Atomica and add an egg . Worth it.
Fully booked ? No problem, order your pizza and they'll bring it to you at Glen Park Station next door! Read more
