Fort Lauderdale Beach

Nice beach within walking distance to hotels and shops. You can see coconut trees and palm trees . Sea water is crystal clear. They have chairs and umbrellas for rent if you want. I loved Fort Beach .

If you want to people watch then you should park yourself near Las Olas Blvd. If you want a more quiet Beach head on up near Sunrise Blvd. Love it either way.

Besides laying on the beach , you can also go parasailing, deep sea fishing , snorkeling and scuba diving . Tons of great shops and restaurants around the area you must explore.

An all day pass for the city bus is only $4. Grab lunch at one of the fine restaurants on las olas blvd and catch the bus down to the beach so u don't have to deal with parking or a lot of walking

Make sure to stop by the Q shop! There are some extremely unique apparel options there, and if you check-in they'll throw in a 10% off discount ! Show them my four square.

VERY nice beach right off of downtown where you can easily cross the street & find anything to eat/drink, even a Starbucks!

Please watch out for the baby sea turtles and nesting mothers. It is illegal to touch or take flash photos of either white lights are prohibited on the beach Feb-Oct so bring a red flashlight

I'm an idiot for not coming here at least once a month. The water is clear. The sand is super nice. And tip: easy access by parking first public parking by Bahia Mar.

When position yourself for working on your tan take in consideration how the building shadows will block your afternoon sun!

Nice beach , warm water, and there's not much people as in South Beach in Miami, I really enjoyed here!

Best spot on the beach for large parties. It's first come first serve so come early! There is a playground there as well . By far the best family spot

Fort Lauderdale Bahia Mar yatching center host the world largest international boat and yacht shows, this spectacular event happens in october hosting some of the biggest names in boast and yachts.

Like I said before and will say it again! Ft. Lauderdale Beach is the best one ever! Once you get that you'll say WOW ;)

It is a great beach during weekdays, but it can get a bit crowded during the weekend. Don't even try it during Spring Break

$1.50 per hr parking ... right next to beach but farther away from restaurants . A lot cheaper parking & very peaceful :)

Make sure you are here by 11 am for prime parking . When you're hungry make sure to stop by Sonic Beach to grab a bite

the beach is very long,clear and white sands ..quite beach .is not like miami.but they are many restaurants around..good margaritas afternoon:)

Plant yourself in front of Rock Bar on Sundays and listen to the house music thump all the way to the shoreline.

Please be aware of sea turtle nests marked off by caution tape there are baby sea turtles growing underground. When walking at night keep an eye out for nesting mothers and do not disturb them

Always come for Tortuga. The beach is closed off for the concert but it's great from what I see.

Go check out the. sunrise on the beach ....wear your swim trunks. You might be tempted to take a dip...or just go "commando" like me!

Please watch for nesting turtles Feb-Oct! Do not go near the nesting mothers or their nest disturbing either is a felony. No white lights are allowed on the beach at night so bring a red flashlight

Don't go right in front of Beach Place, go a block south in front of RokBar and you'll have more space

Go South from here to all the major bars and clubs on the strip. Go North for the low key cool local spots .

If you come with your significant other, bring your sunglasses! Lots to see here! ;-)

Come after school or on the weekends and it becomes quite easy to score a free brew or two from the local beach bums

Great beach but you have to move north to the life guard stand after about 4 to avoid the shadow cast by the Ritz.
