There's something so beautiful about how plain and simple this shop is. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Get a cortado and enjoy a productive work session or a casual coffee with a friend
Their famous Proof Chocolate Chip Cookie ! Such amazing texture! Nice chewy softness throughout. No hardness as some cookies dry up or soft gooeyness, when it feels like it's melted from touched often
What to Order: All of the coffee 's good, but the off-menu hot chocolate (with Twenty-Four Blackbirds chocolate and sweet whole milk ) is excellent, too.
Small n cozy speciality hub.. Loved it more than blue bottle if u want the truth.. Bought 2 freshly roasted beans... U cant go wrong with their espresso ! PERFECT
Nice place with a good vibe, without a long menu, small cups and expensive ...BUT I ordered a green tea latte and was great! A lot better than Starbucks. So, I'm coming back for sure.
Took a solo afternoon coffee break so since it was late the Proof pastries were all gone. This place rotates different coffees so they may have a varied selection each time you go.
Great selection of roasters to choose from if looking for whole bean . Choose from 2 offering a day on the pour over brew menu. Free street parking right around the corner.
They do have a mocha , though it's not on the menu (savory more than sweet). Great selection of bagged coffees as well . Can find Ruby coffee here!
Hipster central! Small indoor seating but has a tiny outdoor extension that looks cute for chatting and reading. Good latte and espresso !
Cognoscenti carries a rotating list of small roasters. They currently offer Wrecking Ball, Handsome, Ritual, Kuma, Counter Culture , and Sightglass beans for sale.
Amazing brews, great selection of beans and different roast offerings. They use a cool machine to make your pour overs. Great espresso too.
Enjoy the cappuccino with the toast with jam and butter, among screenwriters and the like from the culver city film industry
Pro Tip: There's bicycle parking through the gate to the right of the entrance. They told me this after they saw me lock up to a trashcan :)
I would also recommend the Winston , which is not on the menu . It's similar to the Angeleno from Intelligentsia . Quad shot, iced drink.
Some of the Best coffee in LA. Not a bad meeting place either. Arts District.
Get their latte and ask for roibus syrup to get that vanilla-like latte taste!
Batch brew was very good as was the pain chocolate !
I really like the iced coffee here. Have it straight black and no need to added cream or sugar.
Traffic on the 10 to the westside usually sucks. To break up the shitty commute I jump off at Western and take Adams to Washington and kill some time here. Great coffee , even cooler space.
Jonathan Liu from Cognoscenti is definitely a barista to watch - although he didn’t make it to the semifinals, he’s one of the only LA baristas that made it to competition at all.
The Cortado is the most perfectly balanced espresso drink I've ever tasted. On a hot day indulge in a Winston .
Order a regular cup of brewed coffee and use some of the money you save to get a delicious Proof chocolate chip cookie .
cute hipster baristas... try the cold brew , it's refreshing on a warm day
The Winston & a Proof Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookie !????
Much needed real coffee shop in Culvert City . Very few plugs though, bring a full battery
Good coffee . Don't know why they don't leave the cream out - had to ask for it twice.
great coffee bar in Culver City.
Pastries are great!
Incredibly nice staff !
Ask for green tea latte , you'll love it.
Proof chocolate chip cookie was delicious!
love the chai
Great Baristas!????
The Winston
Now open on Sundays!
The pour over is fine. Nothing really special about the coffee shop .
Minimal seating
They close kinda early at 5pm.
You know what? They're closed on Sundays.
Kinda pretentious . Cashier was a d-bag
Excellent coffee, cool vibes, tasty treats. Definitely the pick of the hood.. - Rowan Wernham
Hands down best coffee shop on Larchmont! House coffee rotates and is always outstanding. - Stephen K.
Love the industrial space and outdoor seating. The giant cookie is worth it! - Connie Chiu
Love this place. Fun & very knowledgeable staff. All natural made products. Decent value. Some prices are good deals while some others are a little more expensive. Great tasting events. - The Rituals
I have a new love at FO and it's the porterhouse porkchop w/polenta , the bone marrow and a nice peach cider. great service! - ???? KT
All the tacos—carnitas, pastor, and salmon—are solid, but the fish—nicely charred grilled salmon, delicate and flaky, enshrouded in warm, soft corn tortillas—stands out in the crowd. - Lucky Peach
