This temple-like building is ideal for hushed, meditative appreciation of the Opus One single vintage . Bonus: this is the only place you can purchase Overture , their yearly second wine .
Order yourself a flight of wine with 2012,2014 and the overture for $70. You could also reserve a tour in advance for $85 which comes with tasting the overture and 2014 opus one. Go visit the terrace !
Beautiful and austere property and tasting room . 2013 is still too young. Overture is much more approachable now. Worth the visit but not sure if the wine is worth the $$$ compared to Other cult cabs
How do you not love the marketing at Opus One!?! We're consistently drawn to the beauty and ambiance of this property as if it were a magnet. Grab a bottle of Overture during your visit!
Magnificent view and surroundings to enjoy an exquisite 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Don't forget the Tums...and the pink slip to your car or your first born to pay for the tasting
Views are fabulous and wine is nice. Service was surprisingly mediocre
Tour & tasting is $60. Tasting & intro happens in this room, which feels less a winery & more like a private home.
Love the 2008 vintage! Caleb gave us a wonderful tour of the winery and barrel room. The grounds and views are amazing!
It's been two years since I've last visited, still great wine with perfect vista
Make reservation ahead of time. Complimentary tasting with purchase.
Hands down the best glass (yes tastings here are by the glass) of wine you'll have in the valley!
Try a $40 glass of wine (cheaper than the $300 bottle!). They do have a less expensive wine for around $80/bottle to buy
$90 tour or $40/$50 glass. Your pick. Liquid gold in a glass
$40 for one tasting. One. A bottle of 2010 is $235. The 2008 is $775.
Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace . There are 2 wines for tasting ( charged separately) but no flights so it's more akin to ordering wine at a bar . Nice tasting room though!
They only have red wines to sample. The 2005 is $40 and the 2008 is $35. I prefer wine flights over one pour, but the view from the terrace was nice.
Morgan is a great tour guide.
2010 is the best year!
Do the Double Vintage tasting. Call to make your reservation in advance
Generous pours for the $30 fee, so good to share. Take your glass up to the terrace on the roof rather than staing downstaris.
Premium wine here, you pay high price for the great quality
The wine is amazing-it doesn't matter if it's just red wine . The wine is velvet in a glass!
2007 if you like a soft CA style cab. 2006 if you like a french style cab. both if you are anything like me.
Ask for a tour from Kevin...he knows his wine
Great wine !
Really nice view and great wines .
Very impressive to be in this room.

The first sip of 05 is to die for. Big experience!
Free basketball court in the back!
Gorgeous building
$40 to taster the 2010.
Compare and contrast a glass of the 2005 with the 2007 in the Partner's Room
It's worth it!!!
be sure to taste the 2006 Opus One - it is fantastic!
Buy one glass of the 05 and one of the 06 and compare...
Tried the 05 and 06 vintage....amazing.
Try the 2004 Vintage Opus One, it's divine.
The 2005 vintage is incredible
The overture is pretty good but I wouldn't buy more than one or two bottles.
Very good tasting. 3 wines plus a glass for 25. All cab. Very high quality. - Ryan Tauer
they do full pours! absolutely stunning winery and so intimate and romantic. best place for bubbly! I liked the dvx 2005 the most - Julie Chan
Go for the reserve tasting. Totally worth it. Gorgeous setting - Jackie Standing-Chenier
Besides good wines, the winery grounds are very nice - koi pond, little garden, the statues. Festive light decorations add to the ambiance. - Vera Martynets
Awesome food. Great options (incl. gluten free). A little pricey (typical Napa). Service is a bit spotty when busy b - Rob J
