Adorable charming Inn . Have dinner in the dining hall , Or go less formal in the authentic and wonderful on site tavern. Then go downstairs to visit the lions den for cover bands and fireside beers .

We went for atmosphere, not food. LOVED the atmosphere--wide creaky old floorboards; ACTUALLY quaint, not "quaint"--AND BONUS, were surprised by how good the food was. Start with a drink on the porch !

The hotel is amazing! Every room is different & every floor has it's own character along with interesting quaint common rooms. 4th floor has neat little library . Dinner is incredible! !

Stay in one of the suites behind the main inn . Feels more private and secluded, with easy access to the rest of the inn .
