Great place! Few floors with Hogvards atmosphere detected! :) Reading room and chairs all over the library surrounded by books and magazines . Works till 8 on weekdays!
Beautiful and pleasant place to take a break, curl up with the newspaper or a book , charge your phone, use the internet, or get some work done.
Books in English are on the 6th floor. Mostly fiction and poetry. Good place to spend an hour or two when the weather is bad.
Excellent selection of books . A nice peaceful place to relax .
If you forgot to bring a bag for your books , ask the counter for a "loaned bag" - which you can return later with your books :) handy!
Great place to study! The 6th floor has cozy seats with pillows and a nice view over Helsinki rooftops .
I love the elegant and historical atmosphere here!
You can also lend pieces of art from Taidelainaamo (Art lending) which operates next to the library .
I've spent hundreds of hours here in my childhood reading comics , sci-fi magazines and computer books . :)
A quick way out for a nomadic office solution, when the walls feel too close at home. Often short on tables, but the atmosphere is worth trying.
Beautiful architecture , great place to study :)
Amazing gallery !
