Check out the clearance rack they'll occasionally have out by the pharmacy . Great savings on various items marked 50% off. I've seen granola bars , baking mixes, trail mix , dog food, and more!
I like The Mission and I wish I could enjoy myself when I visit without scanning my area for any possible event to cause me harm. Not for me but for the other person. Last resort shop. Look tough!
Save time and buy your booze elsewhere; customer service has to escort your alcohol to the register for you.
Nice store in the area for grocery runs. Some of the staff associates are friendly .
VIP Fav - Tuscan Chicken Sandwich with lots of Artichoke Hearts
They lady who sells tamales out front makes the best ones ever!!!
A very long line in the cashier . Be patient when you're planning to buy something in safeway.
Though there are long lines the customer service is great!
If you come here late night , just be prepared to wait in line for a while.
I know no one wants to pay for labor anymore, but hire some checkers.
Avoid this Safeway at all costs try Westlake I'm DC or Diamond Heights up the hill , sorriest Safeway in SF oh along w/ 30th Mission.
Great late night shopping
This Safeway is terrible. 2 different packages of bagels looked like 'something' had eaten holes in the bags
Be sure to give ample time to wait in their horrendous lines . Like half an hour.
Not recommended to shop at night... Only 1 line that is open regardless of the number of people standing in line ..
This store SUCKS
Terrible wine selection . Who can drink this sorta second-rate grape juice ?!
Safeways in the bay area suck. Terrible customer service
slowest safeway ever.. even at 1:00am.

This hole-in-the-wall, Excelsior joint serves up very generously-portioned Filipino breakfasts. For a mere $4, you can try the massive Hong Kong pork chop dish. Plus: coffee is included - Eater
