Having spent seven months in Japan , this is the only place outside of Japan I can honestly say tastes like the real deal. Delicious ramen with lots of love in it. All ramen I'd good but tonkatsu is #1

Heiner Twenhäfel

The original top Ramen in Berlin . Come at opening time to avoid the queue, order the Kimchi and their spectacular Kakuni (Pork Belly ) for starters and one of their excellent Ramen . Tan Tan is my fav.

Kyze

Amazing place. Sit at the bar so that you can see how your food is made. Totally worth it. Everything looks completely Japanese. And it's not even that expensive . Long lines , but wait.

Bea

THE place for ramen in Europe. The shio ramen is my fav but if you have the chance try them all once. It's always really crowded so you might have to wait a while, but it's worth it ;)

Daniel A

I’ve had ramen in Japan & NYC, but this is my FAV ramen (tonkotsu ramen )! Long wait during dinner time, but if u eat late dinner , then no wait. Try to be seated in big backyard space if it’s nice out.

Ginevra Villa

A piece of real Japan not only for the excellent food but also for the spot. If you like ramen , you can't miss this place. One of the best Japanese restaurant ever tasted outside Japan

Lucky

great lil place for good ramen , 6-7 diff variations (tried 3 of them: avg score 7/10), asahi beer , nice edame, good gyoza (starter, but small), geniune nice and fast service ! def recommendation!

Odd Morten Skår

Amazing tonkotsu ramen ! The kimchi is really good as well . Wouldn't hurt to have more to choose from when it comes to beer , though. But the food is definitely worth the 20 minute line on a monday.

Fiorella Coto Zevallos

Very authentic Ramen soup . This place is tiny so be prepared to make a huge line in the street before being able order ... but it is worth it. Cash only !! Picture of dan dan noodles !

Matthias

Long day? Annoying people?Nothing a soup of Ramen cannot fix! ???? I love Cocolo Ramen! I prefer the X-berg location because its spacier but the food is delicious at either location! ????????

A.

Regardless of what you order, the kakuni (squared chunks of pork belly ) is essential as a side or a topping. Get a spot on the terrace out the back if it’s one of those boiling hot Berlin summer days

Tao Tao

My favorite ramen in Berlin (and I've tried them all), can't go wrong with either of the choice. Miso is a bit boring. Order Tan Tan (spicy ) or Tonkotsu if it's your first time here. $

Julian Bergueiro

One of the bests ramens I ever taste and the best in town for sure. Really authentic Japanese ramen . I am getting addicted to this place. My suggestion: gyozas and tonkotsu .

Gregor Wulfken

Very tasty good ramen . Try the fermented vegetables for a small fresh starter and the Tonkotsu pork Ramen

Melisa Manrique

Atmospheric little place and delicious ramen ! In love with the limited menu choices. All drinks are equally tasty. Service is kind and fast. You always need to queue but it is always worth it.

Anna Barceloca

Delicious! We tried the Tonkatsu , the Shio and the Miso Ramen , all awesome, but Tonkatsu won. And their homemade Lemonade with ginger & honey - the best I've ever tried! Worth the queueing time.

Shivam

Must try ramen in Berlin . The Tan Tan is my favorite. Do try their homemade lemonade also, it’s extremely refreshing with ginger and honey ????

Rodion Reid

Great gyoza , I loved the sour souce they serve with it. Exactly what it should be. Tonkotsu ramen not the best, but okay. Honey lemonade is just great.

Erna Chou

Had tonkatsu ramen & tan tan ramen . Authentic taste. Slightly too salting for my tongue but I think it’s only me

Sanjin Filipović

Best ramen in Berlin . Great service and cozy atmosphere . Food is really delicious and I will def return here for a second round ramen K.O!

N Y

Tonkotsu was really great, remains a clearish broth - it's not super thick but very tasty. It's a tiny place, there was a line up outside but didn't take long and is worth the wait. Def recommend!!

Johnny Koutiolas

Unimaginable taste. Best ramen I had so far. The pork meat was out of this world.

Romy Alyssa Madison

This is the best place for Ramen . The staff is always smiling, helpful and welcoming. The taste is absolutely perfect. I advise people to go in small groups otherwise they might wait a long time.

Bình Hà

Tonkotsu ramen was delightful for people with heavy taste. The broth and meat are much fatter than the standard, but it's much more creamier and makes you crave for a bowl of ramen when it's cold.

Leonard Lin

Tantanmen was fantastic, as good as you'll find anywhere. Sit at the bar , have a Calpico or some gyoza while you're at it. These guys are legit.

ju ju

try the cold ramen on summer time - with sesame sauce .. very delicious. and the honey/lemon drink. cozy atmosphere . ( if u r allergic, watch out for the hipsters ... there will be many)

Karlito M

The only ramen we've tried in Berlin, and we found it to be as great as any ramen straight from Japan . Recommended. Cocolo Ramen also has a 2nd location in Berlin.

Emiliano Viscarra

I've tried different ramen places and I don't think this is the best. That being said is a really nice place and the ramen is good enough.

Olga Marin

Amazing ramen , very tasty and quite filling. Try the homemade lemonade and the gyozas ! V. reasonable price (8-9€ ramen/4.5€ gyoza )

Anita Klis

Wait in the line , sit down, order, eat amazing ramen and leave. Friendly staff , cosy interior. Not a place for a slow dinner , but food is fantastic. 11/10

John Caliban

Tonkatsu broth is on the thinner end of the spectrum and relatively complex. Pork belly pieces are nicely seasoned and flavorful. Best to come here early or alone to grab a seat in front.

D&A Travel: Anders

Daily Secret, Oct 2015: "Oozing with character and of a ramen place under the tracks of Shibuya Station in Tokyo. Dishes are über-yummy: a very focused menu with few choices, executed to perfection."

Elmi Liptrot

Yummy ramen . Try not to go with a big group of people as it's first-come-first-serve and you'll be seated only when everyone is there (if available). You can't really linger as a long queue awaits.

Marc Ng

First the bad news: there is almost certainly going to be a wait of at least 20-30 minutes for a seat, so don't be in a hurry. The good news: it REALLY is worth the wait, even if it is longer.

Tao Tao

Best ramen in Europe, can't go wrong with either of the choice. Miso is a bit boring. Order Tan Tan (spicy ) or Tonkotsu if it's your first time here

Mako Ruan

Go to the ramen bar for a truly authentic Japanese ramen experience. The broths are excellent, flavourful but not too oily... highly recommend the tantan ramen if you like it hot!

Aileen

Better than some of the big ramen places in nyc. Try the Shio ramen if you prefer lighter, chicken broth . Tonkatsu is also good if you like pork broth .

elkraneo ...

All the good reviews are true! I couldn't go to the garden , but it seems the best place to be...next time would be confirmed ????

Vini G

Was really good! I recommend Tantan Ramen . Altough the Ramen in Japan has more flavour, cocolo is definitely the best ramen spot in berlin atm !

@Edvard Võrk

Ramen is yummi yummi nom nom. I recommend coming before 21:00 and going to the partner restaurant next door for space and comfort.

Eric Morales

Bit of a confusing entrance, the door is to the left of the courtyard entrance. Annoyingly, they're cash only as well . The Tantan (beef ramen ) was fantastic. Also recommend the shrimp dumplings .

Andrew Lunko

Cocolo rules Berlin's ramen scene! Be prepared to wait for you tasty ramen though as the lines are quite long in here

Natalie Marioni

Expect a line , even before they open. No reservations ! Definitely worth it though! Recommend the Tonkatso with pork , pork belly , egg and seaweed . Yummy!

Thodoris T

Prepare for a travel in Japan ! So perfect atmosphere, kind personal and very tasty Ramen above all!

Valerija Sto

Amazing tonkatsu ramen ! Order with extra pork belly you will not regret. Portions are very big though!

Bianca

Great sushi , fresh and tasty. Don't expect privacy over dinner , you will be squeezed with few more strangers at the same table - but this makes it all funnier.

Danielle

Japan level ramen in Berlin ! Worth the wait.

Christine Wu

The tonkatsu ramen was savory with a light broth. Noodles were thin with a good chew. Definitely comparable to what I had in Tokyo!

Aria Vltk

Delicious Ramen ! The starters weren’t so good as the Ramen . Take the Ebamame and Wantan Ramen :)

Toby Paul

Very good ramen but also very busy... Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The edamame beans and pork belly starters are a must!!
