Maid of the Mist

Awesome way to get up close to one of the seven wonders of the world. But, go to the Cave of the Winds first. There, you will receive free sandals that you can use when you board the Maid of the Mist.

Go right to the state park ! Free parking - $12 dollar boat ride . Avoid Cataract Tours like the plague - $10 dollar parking (as opposed to free in the state park or $5 in the town lot.)

$18 gets you as close as legally possible to the falls. Stand in front on the second level. You'll get wet, but isn't that the point amidst the highest flow rate waterfall in the world?

This tour brings you up close to the Horseshoe Falls on the Niagara River . It can't be described and is something that you have to experience. Use your raincoat and protect your phone from the water.

What an amazingly fun experience! It really takes your breath away being that close to the water. I just wish it lasted longer!

USA side ferry ride to see the beauty of Niagara so close. Ride was cool. Must try! Get a package which will be cheap and covers most of the top places to visit.

We stayed on the Canadian side, but came to the American side for this (and, no, not to be like #jimandpam). Much better than its Canadian counterpart, Hornblower . Do this with Cave of the Winds.

I enjoyed every second there very closed to the great falls. Spectacular Front Views ..

Very short but great boat ride to the falls makes you feel like there's a storm around you...you will get wet!

This Labour Day long weekend will be very busy! Expect upwards of an hour wait to get on Maid of the Mist. If you are able, try coming by on Friday to avoid the crowds. -Maid of the Mist Deckhand

You can get a discounted pass online for $45 with access to all the attractions and save money. Do not eat just outside the park .

When you're on the boat, the bottom has the best views but it is more wet. Overall, fantastic views .

Don't listen to the people in the 'information booths '... They claimed 2 1/2 hr wait for the boat ride and tried to sell us on $65 bus tix, we walked to boat and got on in only 20 mins for $13.
