County Line Orchard

Awesome orchard just an hour from Chi. Go in late Sept or early Oct. Go thru the corn maze, pick your apples , drink the hot apple cider and whatever you do, do NOT skip the pumpkin glazed donuts !!!

One of the best orchards I’ve been to!! It’s huge and they tell you exactly which are the best apples to pick depending on when you go. You can’t miss the apple cider donuts on your way out!

Wonderful and inexpensive fun for the family! $5 gets you admission to the animal farm and observation hive along with a tractor ride and chance to pick all kinds of apples . Go for the Jonagolds!

The pumpkin donuts are incredible. We come to get some every year but avoid weekends if possible. The lines are understandably insane!

Awesome place!! My daughter loves the animals. Last year they didnt offer feed, this year the animals were sluggish. Maybe too over fed they wouldn't even get up.

On busy weekends - try to avoid using to southbound County Line Road approach - it can take forever. Use 700 or northbound County Line Rd. to save some time.

Worst cornmaze ever (no maps and most of the corn was only waist high), very few pickable apples ...but we had to pay just to find all of this out.
