Mellow hipster cafe in the nicest possible sense, one of the front runners of what is now a bustling neighborhood cafe scene. Good service , excellent Julius Meinl coffee .
my favourite coffee place in Istanbul! good coffee , good music , great atmosphere and decor, and though it's in a lively area, it's not as crowded and chaotic as the rest of the city ! we loved it!
Karabatak Karaköy???? Julius Meinl is a cool and funky café that features retro-style décor and an atmosphere that makes you want to spend many hours here chatting away with friends over a cup of coffee
Imagine for a minute, you get out of life and start watching it like a movie . This is the feeling you might have as you sip your Cafe Melange . Replenishing and peaceful place .
Nice location, good coffee , still the staff takes your drinks off the table in a hurry without asking and letting you enjoy them till the last drop! (Sometimes half way through)
Nice location with great food and drinks in a recently reconstructed neighbourhood. Staff is nice, prices are great, outdoor seating is available. Always crowded and busy.
Wiener melange ????. Very cool place for early night chill if you don't mind smokers around and occasional street vendors passing by.
Amazing coffee shop , try the Wiener Melange (a cappuccino with more coffee )
Coziness overload! Very stylish and chill coffee place , perfect for sitting outside and even alone
Beautiful cozy place, great coffee and deserts to die for. If you come with a company - take few different to try them all.
Always love Karabatak if not its staff always. Affogato , ice coffee and other coffees are great.
It has evolved the perception of aesthetics and shifted expectations sneakingly. But it's much like a "l'art pour l'art" dont touch museum . In my humble opinion, society needs a living museum as well .
Myriad of coffee options with great outdoor seating shaded by ivy. Located on a very cute street with lots of cafes .
Karabatak offers a warm atmosphere, whether you want to chat with friends over cups of coffee or tea , or spend hours to read and write, this spot is ideal. Read more
Combination of old European grandeur and Ottoman appeal: could have been the early days of republic yet it is the up and coming coffee shop at Karaköy by Viennese coffee brand Julius Meinl
Karaköy is a mysterious little neighbourhood at the water, make sure to have a coffee stop somewhere here. Karabatak has all sorts of coffee !
Very nice cafe to have a coffee or tea . It is in a perfect street!! It feels that you are in Paris!
coffee is great and so is the menu, but terribly overpriced, servis isnt great, but atmosphere is perfect to get away from busy istanbul streets and find the feel of a real coffee shop
Lovely environment, friendly staff , wide variety of tasty coffee and dessert choices (though beware the ice cream ).
Best looking coffee shop in Istanbul, but that doesn't mean the coffee is good.
Wonderful staff service the meaning of coffee shope, decorations is cozy
Coffee tastes great. Prices r way to high. Self-service. Hard to find a free spot.
Great coffee & overall all vibe.
Turkish coffee is delicious and great place to work from
All special Vieanese coffees are commendable. Try Franziskaner if you like cream... con alcohol ... get the Biedermeier .
Coffee is very good. Pity they don't have iced coffee without syrups and cream. At 5 TL, water is very expensive and the food is so-so for the price. Great place to caffeinate and meet with friends .
It's a paradise of coffee . Ask for the detailed menu for funny coffee cocktails ingredients :)
wiener melange & pancake 'the best combo'
Great ambiance. Crowded during weekends. Love the menu and the coffee . Very creative!
I fell in love with this place!! A must do in istanbul!
Best coffee in Istanbul and such a cool atmosphere... Tiramisu was awesome also :)))
Amazing interior, good coffee and tea , great service. One of my favourite cafes :)
Small nice atmosphere nice presentation of drinks lovely stuff but unfortunately the coffee wasn't that tasty and a little bit cold
tonight is the last visit for here.We have been told by the manager they are stopping the service at 10:30.we arrived at 10:25 and begged for coffee to be given with paper cups ????+noanswertocalls.
Hip cafe in a charming part of town .
Great coffee shop with unique design, good coffee selection.
Cool Café , very cool music , great coffees & snacks , nice decor&setting.
If u like dark and Bohem places, u must try here. There is a hipster style in this coffee shop . However, staff is not smiling or do not show hospitality usually
Try the warm panini , it is delicious! The aeropress coffee is good.
Coffee is average, ambiance is one of the best amongst all coffee shops in istanbul
Best homemade icetea ever!!! Must try!!!
Funky, retro interior. Fantastic coffee and attentive service .
So lovely and professional cafe ☕️
Unique place various type of excellent coffees ! Prepayment is required!
Kahve süperdi, coffee was great.
Expensive. 45 turkish lira for breakfast plate which is not much to offer. But the location and decoration is superb.
I love this neighborhood and the nearby restaurants / bars .
