If it's just two or three, order the small plates : Boudin , Roasted Oysters , Boucherie, Shrimp & Eggplant Dressing #wtf, Smothered Greens, Pork Cheeks Paneed. Dessert :Butterscotch pudding .

Sit at the chef counter and watch them cook up amazing goodies. Ham hock was amazing. Fried chicken livers a sleeper surprise. Mac and cheese and broc casserole were caloric heaven.

Perfectly executed... Ham Hock , Mac and Cheese , and Prince blaring "I Would Die 4 U," out of the speakers. Grab some Boudin Balls and a Hey Jack to complete the meal.

Great place for sharing it make a reservation . We tried the Boucherie plate, oysters , boudin balls , and the rabbit & dumplings . Everything was excellent, especially wood fired chili garlic oysters !

Good Service and knowledgeable in food differences as well as various drink options. Food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed.

The house Cochon dish was recommended to me and boy, was I grateful. I saved space so I could eat the pudding which was amazing!

Oysters are sooooo delicious, a must have! Alligator is super yummy! Baba au rhum is the best way to finish your meal

The Butcher is around the corner from the main shop. Homemade flavors with their take on popular sandwiches replaced with delicious pork cuts. Le Pig Mac is referencing Pulp Fiction and is succulent.

Super nice restaurant , walking distance from convention center , with great and delicious food and impressive options of bourbons . Staff is welcoming, prices are affordable , just the portions are small

Note to self...ate at the bar . Ordered wood fired oysters , crawfish pie , fried livers , braised pork cheeks , and the mac & cheese . Everything was delicious. Night of all 3 Donald Link restaurants .

The namesake Cochon is truly a treat. And if you're a visitor like me, get the boudin/alligator to share for the table.

Chefs Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski. Simple food, and an emphasis on local microbrews . Boudin , breaded pork cheek , smoked ham hock w/ chicken heart , mac & cheese , louisiana cochon .

Gumbo was very good, nice and strong. I had alligator for the first time and it did taste like chicken ! The French 75 cocktail was delicious as well - so refreshing ! Meh oh the main cochon pork

The wood-fired oysters with chili garlic butter are to die for!

The oysters may have been the best food I've ever tasted! First time trying the fried alligator and that was phenomenal too! Highly recommended!

They make Arnold Palmer with fresh lemonade and in house brewed tea . You can get sweet or unsweet tea in it. 5 stars

Amazing! The menu is great for exploring and tasting. A decent wine list of exotic whites and introducing reds. My second time...I will definitely go back!

Alligator, oysters , shirt ribs , are dope. Oh and the mac and cheese . And cochon. And rib eye pie . Oh, just get it all you can’t go wrong.

I can't rave enough about this place. Rabbit and dumplings , cochon, butterscotch pudding , corn custard ....all brilliant! Come hungry.

The smoked beef brisket was good. As was the Louisiana cochon . This place was second only to Sylvain for my favorite restaurants in New Orleans.

The fried oysters , the alligator , and the cochon were incredible. One of the few meals I would order the exact same thing if I were to return. Excellent spot.

The Mac and Cheese cooked in an open oven at 500 degrees was amazing. Also had the Short ribs . So much food we were able to share one order of both.

Great drink!!! I like "Blood of our people" if you are into #Bourbon and "Nothing but flowers" if you are looking for something alcoholic but on the sweeter side.

Honestly a little disappointed. Was so looking forward to this place due to the great reviews. But I had the oyster sandwich and it was so much bread and lettuce I could barely eat it ????

All. The. Things. The smoked ribs with watermelon pickle , the wood fired oysters , and Boudin balls were wonderful! The crawfish pie was delightful.

We used this restaurant to supply lunch for a small conference and we also had an event upstairs (about 70-80 people). All of our members raved about the food and the event service .

Best table bread and butter. Start with fried alligator for the table. Rabbit and dumplings also solid. Oyster sandwich is massive

Thought it was a little overrated. I had the Louisiana Cochon which was delicious served on top pickled peaches and cabbage . Fried alligator was very good as well .

The wood fired oysters are a highlight and come with a delicious chili sauce . Get anything pork

The Elvis king cake is filled with peanut butter , banana and house-cured bacon and topped with marshmallow and traditional Mardi Gras decoration. A small pink pig replaces the baby. @Gambit

Great food and friendly staff . Had the chicken fried soft shell crab . It was fabulous. The pork cheek small plate was wonderful, too.

Decent bourbon selection -- if you're a Scotch drinker the 1792 goes down well . Good sazeracs . Had the fried alligator 'small plate ' which was delicious, came with a spicy remoulade . 

Ham hock was amazing!what depth and complexity of flavor. Great Cajun upscale cooking.

Mac n cheese to die for. Pork cheeks were phenomenal, and the fried alligator was great too. All round awesome food.

3 min away from WW2 museum so go there when you visit. Order the wood fired oysters and the Cochon (pork ).

Pork , pork and more pork ....says it all. But it is so much more. Amazing place, try it, you won’t be disappointed!

The church of roasted meats , including Gator popcorn . You can also get local craft beer here and nice cocktails .

The rabbit and dumplings are really good, and if your not from the south and never tried alligator , then this is the place, it's great.

The Mac and Cheese is really good

Awesome food, great service. Most food cooked in wood burning stove. Great for groups but no separate checks. Will split bill up to 4 cards.
