Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op

A great place to pick up produce, beverages and dried herbs. Like many downtowners, I've been a Sac COOP member for years and compliment my shopping trips at Gluten Free Specialty with trips here.

We love them! I have a gluten allergy and they have so many selections for me. The staff is really knowledgeable (especially in the wine & cheese area) and kind. We love everything they have to offer.

Like coffee ? The co-op has a vast selection of organic fair trade coffee beans and a grinder on location. They also carry some nice chocolate brands including Madecasse.

Lots of healthy food . Ver "hipstery". Places to eat inside and out. Great cheese and vitamin selection.

Get some Terra Firma strawberries . Add sugar to draw out juices and a little Abita Strawbeey Amber. Reduce to make syrup for your pancakes , ice cream and sponge cake or other awesome dishes!

One of the best parts of shopping here is knowing that when you are in the produce section... Everything is Organic !!!

Their kombucha on tap is one of the best in Sacramento.

They have a great and varied beer selection . The deli counter is perfect for a healthy and hearty lunch .
