Nice traditional ryokan . The rooms are nice, but not the nicest you can find. The food is ok, but it is incredible how little flavour they manage to squeeze out the food. Good value for money though.

Decent ryokan onsen right by Lake Suwa. The rooms are quite nice, though not the nicest ryokan I've seen. Onsen is decent & clean . Kaiseki meal was an interesting experience if thoroughly bland.

思ったよりこじんまりした旅館。ロビーのソファーは喫煙可。館内は畳と絨毯敷きで、スリッパ無しで歩けます。エレベーターの中まで畳。唯一残念やったのは若い仲居さんがいなかったこと。笑 - Yuki Kawachi
