Shanghai Science & Technology Museum

The museum is huge and mostly meant for little kids, but the building is gorgeous and you might catch some interesting photo shoots in front. Also, check out the cheap underground mall in the subway.

Really a great time, a solid science museum that can compete with the best of them.

It is true, start by around 15% of their price and end up with like 30% of what was asked. Negotiate well . it's not an aggressive place like other markets , people are mostly friendly there.

Come here to go market shopping. Endless rows of shopping stalls. You can find anything you need. They will say a ridiculous price at first- you have to stand firm & maybe walk away to get your price.

It has a good exhibition , the whole museum is so interesting, it is a good half a day visit you can spend here.

If possible go on a week day before noon to avoid crowds. Don't recommend Saturday or Sunday because of your groups.

Great for kids! You can spend many hours strolling around and playing with interactive attractions (most of them in need of maintenance)

Great exhibit on Da Vinci at Level2! Also found the movie clip on Planck and Bohr very well done!

Always haggle 10-20% of original price. Don't pay more than 90rmb for any watch no matter what they say, inside they are all the same. Small handbags >150rmb, Bags >300rmb. Don't do electronics .

Near the museum thereis a market of fakes . Price are acceptable (if you bargain) . They have fakes not available in Nanjing 580 rd.

Go early buy the 4d experience cinema early, ticket sold out around 12pm!

Unfortunately extremely poorly maintained, almost none of the games/experiments are working, things are broken an never replaced :( but still fun on a rainy day

The Robots are fantastic for kids.

Absolute waste of money and time! Nothing works, exhibits are dated.

Not worth it - the displays are really dated, and even on a weekday morning it's swarming with screaming elementary school students.

They accept UnionPay which means you can pay with your Discover Card

Some call it a fake market and a fabric market , I call it my walmart.

Отличный музей ! Много интересного, поход в него занял весь день, закрытие в 5. Детям будет особенно интересно. Но и взрослым есть, что посмотреть
