Cracking little pub with no nonsense tolerated. Cask ales are superb.
The pub is popular with students, who dominate the table football machine, and real ale enthusiasts , usually three on sale. It is also a meeting point for Manchester United fans on match days
Not the cheapest of pubs in the city centre but a great atmosphere.
Great! Really enjoyed.
It's quite expensive really for what it is
Not popular with real ale enthusiasts . Selection is poor and badly kept. Lovely building though.
Avoid ordering a bottle of Magners ... £4.90 WTF!?
The juke box is a bargain, and the board game selection is a nice touch. Did I mention the beer? - Emma Thom
Great atmosphere, beer selection, specially if you're into more alternative places - Igor Delija
Great boozer. At the minute they have Creme Beerlee on, which is something you have to try! Student pub but welcoming. - Stu Mitchell
Outstanding selection of whiskey - there's even a dedicated whiskey menu. - Neil Turner
Fantastic food, great staff and the outside terrace on the canal is a sun trap in the summer! Highly recommended! - David Taylor
Reminds me of a lot of European beer bars. Definitely a dive. Big beer list but little description - Lewis Smith
