St Kilda Beach

If you head down to the beach on the left of Luna park you will see the most beautiful sunsets . The penguin peer is also a must see but not till after midnight when there’s loads of them around!

It was very cold & windy when we get there & i fell asleep on the benches by the beach while waiting for my family to enjoy their walks on the piers ... very clean & amazinggggg scenery too ????????

Definitely not the nicest beach in Melbourne , but it is closest to town . But because of this fact it's usually pretty packed. Don't forget to take a walk down the pier to have a look at the penguins!

Great spot for sunbathing with a friend or two. The breeze helps keep you from getting too hot when it's in the upper 30s degrees. Try the Beachcomber resto for a nice lunch special with drink.

The water is nice and warm during summer, so a midnight swim is always nice even if it's only 20 deg outside. And a lot of the beach is lit up near Luna Park . :)

Beautiful cityscape from there and you can see some small penguins hidden in the rocks st the pier .

A nice place to walk your dogs, do people watching , and if you're lucky, you might be able to see some penguins hiding between the rocks.

Must go to watch the pingouins come back at sunset . The pier can be quite crowds and windy

Good place to relax , do forget to visit the shops area as well for food or coffee . Direct tram from CBD & only like 20min.

How cool is that to be at the beach 30mn away from the city . Cool spot, sunny and nice area as well .

Check out The Stokehouse while your there great restaurant lunch/dinner. Right on the foreshore!

Penguins! Tiny penguins can be seen on the rocks at the end of the stone pier . You might have to wait until 9 to 10pm at night though

Head down when the wind's up to check out the kite surfers, or around sunset for the penguins.

Was not super crowded surprisingly for a Saturday in February! Range of places to eat! Also a day spa !
