Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

I've been coming here nearly once a week for nearly a decade now. Most of the tips so far are good, and everyone has there favorite mexican food , and abuelos does it all well . [continued in next tip]

Dare I leave another tip on the Sangria Swirl ! The Happy Hour Appetizers are good too. Get there early, it draws a crowd. For Everyone's safety, Please Don't Drink and Drive.

My favorite thing to order here is their enchiladas . All of them are a great choice. Their papas are also their best side.

I wish this place was closer to where I live- it's terrific! Great food, great servers, pleasant atmosphere . If I get back to that area, I will definitely go again.

So I'll say some rather unknown things about the menu. A hidden menu if you will. You can replace any item of your order with any item. Their French fries are excellent, suprisingly.

Good deals on Happy Hour menu from 3:00-7:00 daily. All the other meals were very good.

Everything especially the fajitas . Great chips and salsa too. Beautiful place and great service.

Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu but the Sangria Swirl is out of this world, dangerously good!

Sun-Thur 9pm-10pm Late Night Fajitas ! $5 for a full lunch order of shrimp , steak , or chicken fajitas ! Queso for just $2 as well !

Everything was delicious! The espinaca (spinach & cheese dip ) is amazing!

Mexican Haystack is soooooooo delish! Love the fresh chips and salsa !

Stephanie is a great waitress and the food is outstanding.

The chicken w zucchini is delicious. Very flavorful sauce and just spicy enough. I always get rice and broccoli as my sides.

Our fav Mexican restaurant ! We have not had a bad meal!

The jalapeno and pinnapple salsa is absolutley AMAZING!!!

For spicer salsa for your chips ask for the habanero salsa .

Try the taco/enchilada combo w/papas con chile. Shredded beef taco with avocado enchilada w/cream sauce is best IMHO. Yum!

The salsa brava is excellent. Be sure to ask for it because it's not on the menu .

Fajitas tasting yummy after 7 1/2 drive from California!

Lunch specials are quick and filling.

Great food...new menu from last time.

For happy hour sit in the bar and ask for Devin, he rocks!

To lighten the calories get the fajitas with romaine lettus leaves rather than tortillas

Good food here. Not cheap but worth it.

Try their "brava " salsa , it's warm and has excellent taste!
