Hip breakfast spot full of bizarre paintings , Motown music and comfort food breakfast platters that are mouthwatering delicious. Matt's Morning Slider with cafe potatoes is heaven in your mouth.
Great drink and tap list ! Always changing beer but always have good craft beers ! Dinner entrees are much more pricey than lunch but very good! Easy to spend over $35 a person on dinner !
I love the petit vegan duo with a cup of their vegan soup of the day. I've also had the peacemaker sandwich which is delicious but messy and the Ethiopian vegan stew which is also good.

Husband loved the Chicago ribeye sandwich but the Asian salad was less than desired. They were accommodating and the yooper bean and bacon soup was so good I took a cup to go.
I had the southwestern omelet - great. The hash browns were soft and buttery, the way I like them. My husband likes them crispy , so he was disappointed. His biscuits and gravy were a little cold.
No longer a laid back , reasonably priced soup and sandwich joint. Now a high priced bistro with an extensive bar and staffed with (very nice) hipsters . Pretension with a side of vegan .
A little pricey , trending toward an upscale vibe. Try the soup flight - the Curried Tenderloin soup is one of the best soups I have ever had.
Love this place! The Dark and Stormy is excellent, with a strong ginger kick. The atmosphere is warm, the menu is interesting, and the bread pudding is delightful.
I love it here. Not only are the staff wonderful to customers, they are kind to each other! I've heard waitresses ask the kitchen if they need a drink or something from the back. Priceless!
Stopped here for brunch on the 4th of July. Ordered the Smoky Scramble and it was delicious. I was so glad we found this place.
Everything I ordered was delicious ! Can't wait to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend Goat Cheese Points for an appetizer ! ????
Soups ...comforting and delicious. Bread was served cold. Great drinks. Bread pudding is divine! Outstanding service . Thanks Haram !
We ordered the filet and the Voodoo Pasta . The combination was perfect! I haven't had food this good in months! My hats off to the cooks.
Excellent for brunch , but anticipate a wait. Try the seafood chowder and the grilled shrimp salad .
Love the rotating soups ; Cream of Roasted Red Pepper and the Mushroom Tarragon are two of my favorites! Also, bottomless fresh locally roasted Rudy Baggs coffee ? Sign me up!!
Known for more than soup , the Soup Spoon Cafe has 12 Michigan micro-brews on tap, and... has a Mug Club created by local artisans from Clay Works pottery co-op!
Great Menu! Fantastic soups ! The employees really nice and funny! Well Done!
This place has a few great vegan options ! I highly recommend the peacemaker sandwich .
Good Greek food ! I haven't tried their soup but the place is really nice and the food is good for the price.
The Baja and Irish scrambles were both tasty and are best paired with mimosas .
Wonderful food, plus beer , wine , and a full bar . Cool espresso machine.
Don't miss the Cajun Chicken Po Boy - the hot chicken , melty cheese and peppers and kick of spicy mayo are incredible.
Great soups ...Seafood Chowder , thick & hearty; French Onion , rich flavor w/o being salty. Four additional soups rotate thru the menu. Perfect place 4 brkfast or lunch meetings! Twitter: @soupspooncafe
Seafood chowder is the best. The bread pudding is better than Grandma's (shh, don't tell! )
One of the best places to eat in Lansing! Seafood chowder is epic.
I got the vegan ravioli and was disappointed. The choices made in the dish did not go well . For example, the seaweed did not make sense and it didn't fit. Weird. The bread appetizer was good though.
The cubano , cajun chicken po boy , and pastrami were all big hits at our table!
I usually get soup and a sandwich but decided to try the Chicken Marsala . It was outstanding. Probably my new favorite item on the menu.
The Eastside Chicken is flavorful and light.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast selection ! Spicy greek omelet is superb.
Great food. Great coffee . Good service .
Nice selection of soups . Pleasant atmosphere .
Cafe combos are the way to go - let's you try a soup and half a sandwich , perfect portions for a quick lunch . Read more
The turkey sandwich is good for lunch !
I'll let you in on a little secret. The Christina shrimp wrap (not on the menu ) has the BEST spice medley of anything on the menu!!
If you're going on a weekend night, make a reservation !
The Baja Scramble is amazing!! Love the avocados & chorizo ~ Yummm!!
Just ate lunch here and loved it! The soup and tea selection is excellent!
Wow, Voodoo Pasta did not disappoint, do good...
Excellent food breakfast , lunch and dinner !
Get the bread pudding for dessert . You're welcome.
Amazing staff every time, i love this place!
Over priced good food and no kid's menu! $10 for a nana bread pizza for my child and it only had cheese and sauce!
Potato bacon ale and cheese soup is excellent.
Calling the pumpkin bisque a soup is an understatement. It is hot, delicious, autumnal-inspired deliciousness. With whipped cream .
We enjoyed the seafood chowder !
Make sure to make reservations if you're coming for dinner !
try the vegan lentil stew ! sometimes they have it even when not listed. another great place for vegan & omni.
wow... that's all I have to say. on my way to clearing my plate and licking it clean . best meal I've had in Lansing. ever.
Venison burger with melted cheese on it is amazing!!!! - Shannon Stauffer
everything in the case here is amazing... they have made their chocolates here for almost 100 years and their prices are really reasonable! i love the dark chocolate butter creams. Truffles are good t - Matt Cox
From out of state & this theater is by far one of the best ones I've been to. Love the fact you can refill your popcorn/drinks for free No matter what size. Friendly staff as well. Good business! - Julius
