This was our first stop on our east coast trip. Great views great people and the lobster was good. A must stop if your in the area.

Epicurious

The policy is bring-your-own-everything; regulars show up with giant coolers full of beer , wine , salad , bread , foie gras , you name it; Chauncey Creek supplies the lobster . Read more

BYOB , pick your own lobsters , and they cook them for you. You sit at a picnic table , very nice view right on the waterfront . Lobsters were very hard to crack open. Nice place after a day on the water

Chris Weber

Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier is hands down one of the best lobster spots I’ve ever been to!Some people have mentioned that it can be a bit pricey , but let’s not forget—it’s BYOB !

Garrett Van Siclen

Great place on the tidal river . Lobsters , clams , oysters , and the like. You can bring your own salads , beer , wine - just not anything they sell. Some folks bring tablecloths and candelabras.

Sarah Spagnolo

A lakeside family-friendly gem that always feels like a hidden find. Pair this with a weekend in Portsmouth and hit two states in one trip. BYOB

Lisa Doherty

Great relaxed New England style place. Get the Lobstah fresh off the boat! BYOB and some folks brought some food that is not on the menu . Great views .

Adam Spagnolo

Awesome lobsters , oysters , clams , and shrimp along a gorgeous Maine creek.

Jennifer Preston

Best lobstah in Maine, my veteran Maine foodies say. BYOB ; bring side dishes if you want. Beautiful setting along creek. Mosquitos at night. Martha Stewart loves the whoopie pies .

Travelhound12

The lobster is great, especially because they come in multiple weight, but I recommend the raw bar items (cherry stones, mussels , etc.)

Gustavo

This place is awesome. The food is great and you definitely can have a good time here. The landscape is beautiful. Worth the ride.

Lily

BYOB is a nice selling point of this place. Stick with the steamers or fried fish options. The lobster rolls are fine, but not stand-outs. Unfortunately no longer dog friendly .

Savory Spice Shop

We've been vacationing in Maine for more than forty years and this place is the best lobster shack we have ever encountered. Succulent lobster and memorable sides....

Mike Norman

A great place to enjoy steamers, mussels , and lobsters . Its byob so bring anything ya want. Oh btw its built on a river and has enclosed seating. Good spot

Kate Berkenbush

Come here to eat great lobster roll with a perfect view ! BYOB

Nick Woolf

BYOB , phenomenal shrimp/tuna/chili, hear the lobster is good too... Hard to find driving wise but if you can get there, definitely worth the effort

Robyn C

I have been going there since I was a child. It is a summer tradition! Sooo worth the drive!

Zack Sheppard

BYOB and BYOSides and excellent lobster . What more could you want?

Heather Ryan

Bring a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers and watch the sunset as you dine by the water with the best lobster in Maine. After coming here for ten years there is no better place to dine.

Brian Cantwell

Beautiful setting for a tasty lobster roll . Don't forget to BYOB .

Ryan Ball

Casual outdoor dining with a good selection of seafood . Lobster was good but over cooked. Great steamers

Jess Kendall

Don't forget the blueberry pie ! Real Maine blueberries and a dollop of whipped cream

Allison L'Heureux

Terrible rolls served on hamburger buns . The meat doesn’t taste like lobster meat at all. It tastes like celery . The texture of the meat was extra rubbery, as if the meat was frozen. Don’t recommend.

@sloane

One of the best finds around. It's BYOB and some people bring full picnic baskets with salad and dessert .

Lisa Wheeler

Lobstah is great, BYOB is great, but the homemade pie is the BEST!
