Place gets packed so either go with time to spare or come early before 12 or late after 3. Love their Steak Tortas or the Sirloin Salad w/a Iced Vanilla Coffee . Tons of cheap pastries to choose from!

Finally I had the chance to try the famous Porto's! And it's excellent. I ordered the Cubanito, the seafood potato ball and the steak empanadas . Next time I'll get the plate of chicken . It looks????

i highly recommend ordering 1 of each little pastry (fruit tart especially) to go. then, throw on comfy clothes , pour some bubbly, & eat to ur hearts content! The best part- it’s all calorie free ????????

Best OJ ever. Medianoche and Ropa Vieja sandwiches are delicious! Fried plantains , a must. You have to get the papas rellenas and the rellenitos. For sweets, the mixed fruit tart is my favorite!

The potato balls are my favorite but I can't leave without a coffee cake and cinnamon crumb bunt cake . Everything here is delicious and reasonably priced. Good value for your money!

Fancy looking cafe and bakery with tons of things to choose from. The checkered chocolate mousse cake is amazing! Also the plantain sides for the sandwiches at the cafe are good as well .

Potato balls had nicely spiced ground beef mixture. Cheese rolls , coconut roll, meat pie , turkey croissant , pan con lechon sandwich , creme brûlée , and the Cuban sandwich were all DELICIOUS.

If you want to skip the bakery line , the sandwich line is often less crowded ; you can order baked goods there as well . I'll have one of everything, please. Plus a potato ball .

Call ahead 24 hours in advanced to skip the long lines when ordering for a get together :). Line for pick up is at the very end of the bakery where the stairs are and moves quickly !

The polvarones cookies are AMAZING!! They are like a super airy shortbread and sugar cookie combined. Doesn't look like much but don't be fooled - great taste!!!

The place has a name everyone recognizes and the pastries creativity and taste back it up. I give props to those hard workers, both in the front and behind the scenes.

I like to call this place Gordo's -- it's not the best choice if you're on a diet, but damn it's good! Croquetas de pollo are da bomb, and don't skip the pastries or coffee .
