Missing the batter-dipped goodness of French toast after going egg-free? Fear no more, for Sunrise Restaurant has the best vegan French toast we’ve ever had, with a dollop of fresh fruit on top.
Tasty vegan French toast and soyrizo breakfast burrito . Friendly service and no frills dining experience. Will come back for the tofu , veg , rice and beans dinner plate.
One of the few true latin restaurants in the mission that offer Soyrizo . The platanos are always cooked to perfection, great breakfast spot !
Coffee was hot and plentiful. French toast with fruit was fresh and delicious.
Ask for casamientos with your dish. Instead of rice and beans cooked separately, it's rice and beans combined - and somehow, the combination is way more than the sum of its parts. Addicting.
Huevos al Gusto are the perfect portion of two eggs , rice and beans, plantains and a small hunk of white cheese . No frills, All delicious.
Really enjoy their vegan choices here, you can get chilaquiles with soyrizo even.
The vegan burrito was really nice. The soyrizo is better than you'd expect.
Legit $5 breakfast burrito (sausage or bacon )
This place is ok. That's it. I felt that $14 is a lot for breakfast at a gritty joint like this. I was also perturbed by the unfamiliar insect that scurried across my table after my meal.
Roll through here for brunch for a hipster-free experience, great food, minimal wait.
Chicken tamale was excellent. Also the huevos al guesto
Great World Cup watching for the 9 AM games.
Get the salvadorian cornbread ! So good!
Love the breakfast burritos !
Flautas are fantastic
Get the vegan breakfast burrito
Takeout can be really slow.
Breakfast burritos !
Agreed! Chilaquiles are a must try!
French Toast was great and so was Ham Omelet !
Chilequiles, Yum!
Yummy vegan options here! Check it out.
get the huevos al gusto with plantains .
Not worth the price you pay for food. The service is slow for peak times.

chilaquiles FTW
Mostly Salvadorian food, not really any other Latin American country . While things tasted okay, my pupusa came with a hair in it and a couple of bugs were scurrying on the table throughout the meal
Hurevos al gusto!
Huevos rancheros
Awesome place for brunch. Love the super vegetariano and italian pupusas. - Caroline
The Pierna Enchilada Torta is huge, filling and delicious. - Joel Antipuesto
The queso with mushrooms were amazing. Perfectly charred on the outside, gooey on the inside and the umami of the mushrooms bring it the next level - Rory Parness
Love Philz! Amazing people and great coffee! Might be a bit confusing at first but you'll get the hang of it! - Cole Correa
Great little minimalistic spot for good coffee and getting work done. Love the backyard - Vincent Robbemond
Donut bread pudding is heavenly: a melange of whatever leftover donuts they had yesterday. Delicious, and sustainable! - Robert Brewer
